Yeah! I just purchased your excellent Rockabilly book and am following all the lessons & series of videos. So pleased to play this riff and song. This is caviar to me. THANKS Stu!
Thanks so much - I try to b through but not overload the viewer...otherwise these lessons could go on for hours. FYI: I'm soon to be launching a Patreon page soon where people will be able to support Ukulele Zen & the mission of relaxing & holistic music lessons. More TBA :)
This sky rocketed my uke playing! Been playing guitar all my life and just started ukulele for fun 12 bar on the uke with triplets, it makes sense now lol Thanks brother!
Thanks so much for these tutorials! I've a Ukulele sitting around for so long but I feel like I need some easy tutorials with songs I love to find the motivation to start so this is super helpful and I love the arrangement! :D
Glad you like them! Thanks for jumping in ;-) I have lots of beginner's tutorials at my channel page...and More videos every week from this channel - please subscribe to keep in the loop. Happy playing :-)
Hey Stu, I recently found out about your channel and found a goldmine of tutorials. Just wanted to appreciate the commitment and hard work! Onwards and Upwards mate!
Always look forward to your lesson's. Just bought your chord melody book and I love it. Thanks again for all the effort you put into sharing your knowledge with others---Onward!!
Thanks! I appreciate your support & hope you're enjoying the book...there's some examples from the solo I've made videos for and others are on the way ;) All the best to you!
You can do it! The intro & the shuffle feel of the strum will become more natural the more you play it…thanks for watching and using the video as a study guide 😊🤙🎶
Thanks for checking out my videos Dennis… Lots of lessons on my channel to learn from. Got 3 min? JS Bach on hi G uke th-cam.com/video/6NbhEscK8_E/w-d-xo.html
Oooh - didn't think of that. That triplet that goes D U D, D U D will sound awesome on a banjo uke! Should offer overtones of George Forby's split stroke....
+Ukulele Zen (Stuart Fuchs) that would make a great lesson. just bought a Kala concert banjolele. what a sound is coming out of that piece. thanks again.
Thanks for watching! FYI: I'm soon to be launching a Patreon page soon where people will be able to support Ukulele Zen & the mission of relaxing & holistic music lessons. More TBA :)
Thank you Stu. I'm new to the Uke, but loving the journey. I am from Liverpool and a big Beatles fan. I believe George Harrison loved his Uke too. That's good enough for me. Can you do a lesson on 'In my life' please? I subscribed so looking forward to your music. Peace.
@@UkuleleZen I just watched your Beatles Medley and it has once again inspired and motivated me to keep practicing. A great concert ! If you ever play in Perth WA, I'll be there. Stay safe in these ISO days. Cheers, Brian
Stu, you’re a very good teacher, however on the beginning riff, I am not sure what cord you’re playing after the last G. Is it C9? for the walk-up? Trying to get it right! Thx!
Low G my friend. Standard ukulele tuning is GCEA With the high G string… I have mine as a low G string which is common in many players do it. You can buy special sets of strings with a low G string in it already
On a tenor uke - Stepping down from G to D I lifted my first finger off the "D note" leaving only fingers 3 (G note) and 2 (B note). I can't find the chord in my ukulele chord book. Anyone know what the chord is named? Thanks.
Hi, sorry I am not familiar with Patreon, should I register and log in to download the song sheet? does it have any cost (I mean using patreon I know the sheet its supposed to be free)
Thanks Daniel. Patreon is a means of supporting my channel...there are posts for videos made from Dec 2018 and on. This video here: go to www.stufuchs.com/store & get it where it says "Free Tabs & Goodies". If you wanna support on Patreon, happy to have you join ;-) Be well, Stu
@@UkuleleZen I can't believe you answer Stu I'm your fan!!! I was specting somebody else to answer me like a representative, Stu you are unique with the ukulele I won't show you what I play becuase you would laugh until your lungs explote, I play easy things like blues and "El mariachi" I am from Colombia and I have a creative idea just for you, if you want to double the amount of donations you get, you should think about putting Spanish subtitles in your videos(I know you are an English speaker but keep your mind open to this ) , I can watch you since English it's my second language, but Iwhen you look for videos in TH-cam using Spanish words it only shows you results in this language, same thing in English, if you add subtitles in spanish and try to make a title like, learn how to play "El Mariachi" in your ukelele perhaps also Spanish speakers will find it and of course some of them might donate to your channel, hope this works at least to get you some help to keep this running

Got it. Worked it out Gadd(4)
