    Thanks you Stu for the duet with Sarah, for me it s a very good tool to pratice inside a band and repeating again and again and again without making other musicians became crazy ;0)

    I really like your lessons! Learning plain song Chordsand a few strumming patterns like on many other ukulele channels is fun and all, but i feel that you are sharing real lessons on how to actually play. Love it! Thank you!

    Totally awesome playing. You two are great. Love that style of playing. It is going to be worth the practice. Thanks a million for this lesson.

      Thanks Shawn! Enjoy learning it...once you get a hang of the clapping & strumming it becomes as much of a standard strum as Down Up, Down Up....

    Love this tutorial, I was trying to jam with a much better musician recently and realised my timing is all over the place. A lot of your teaching videos are simple arrangements but they sound brilliant when you play them because you're always on beat.
    It's time to get a metronome.

    Thanks for posting. I'm playing with some bluegrass friends so I'm moving back to my classical guitar. Enjoyed reviewing this series. Zombie Jamboree is next, thanks.
    Also on my review list is the series you did on the road from Fla. You went over 3rd and 6th harmonic pairs.

    So did you just get married? Noticed that around two minutes into this video you begin wearing a wedding band and in the video you published today (May 15, 2018) you have the ring on and you mention your wife Sarah. Whether it’s recent or long standing, Congratulations! Love your very calm and informative way of teaching!

      Thanks for watching Francis! Yes, we’ve married for some time now (I don’t always have my band on when I’m playing, but I’m getting more comfortable with wearing it while playing! 😉) Wishing you all the best & happy days of playing music! 🎶🙏🏻

    Really enjoyed it, I didn't have to worry about complicated chords👍
    It would be helpful also to indicate the name of the practice song in the video title (Lonesome Tears In My Eyes)
    Thank you for the play along!

    Hi Stu. Like the Thay calligraphy behind you. Have you been to Plum Village while you were in Europe ?

    • @UkuleleZen
      @UkuleleZen  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was hoping someone would see that :) I love opening to random pages of that book - like a mindfulness bell, That's calligraphy wakes me up & helps me to return my conscious awareness to the here & now. I so wanted to visit Plum Village, but it didn't line up - I looked into it, but the schedule had a private retreat during my only available window to go. Hopefully in 2019! :) You have been, if I remember correctly yes? Namaste.

    Hi Stu, first of all, thanks for your videos, I learned so much more than techniques! One other thing, I can hardly hear Sarah in this video and that's a pity! Or is it just me that's is getting old 😛

    • @UkuleleZen
      @UkuleleZen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did my best to boost the bass, but thanks for the valuable feedback - I’ll try to improve it the next time we record. She’s a great Mando player too...someday soon you’ll hear 😊🎶🎉 thanks for watching!

    • @timkwee4137
      @timkwee4137 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Stu, can't wait for Sarah to play the Mando!! Btw it's so great to see you playing with your wife. She is right? I made that assumption from your other video, but there could be more Sarah's ;) My wife sometimes sings when I play the guitar or ukulele and I have 4 and hope the jam with them one day....

    Make it a split strum and you're playing 12th street rag. It's the song that got me into the uke.

    hi Stu', glad to see you again on videos ;)
    I'm gonna be off topic, but do you have the tab of "no woman no cry" that you play in introduction, c'est juste excellent !

    • @UkuleleZen
      @UkuleleZen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Colin! I’m working on a full solo & tab for that piece...taking a bit of time, but I’ll get it up there! Be well, Stu
