They literally pulled the smartest move to reduce space in the village, this opens the door for many future town halls
*I guess they need to do that more often, or just make the base bigger
@@vlxdmaking the base bigger would cause some problems that's why they didnt did it if it wasnt a problem they would have done it long ago instead of removing all the remaining barracks for soace
They got so many buildings that they started either eliminating them like the barracks and now merging the buildings
yeah, because we honestly cannot customized our own bases now, too crowded

This is very interesting as when th17 eventually comes out, rushing will be stalled for quite a bit. Since you would need to get 4 maxed defenses before moving on

They should combine all 4 army camps into 1 buildings
Personally I like the realism of having more space, as the amount of troops gets pretty high.

Imagine a Splurge Mortar. You can add 2 Mortars together to make a Splurge Mortar. It’s like a Mortar but with 5 actual mortar holes, like the multi-mortar in the builder base which has 5 mortar holes at the max level which is level 10. These would be able to target multiple troops at different locations and also the mortar shells would bounce in the same spot a few times. The only catch is that they have a slightly bigger null spot.
Also we can freeze multi archer towers with one freeze spell 😅 that's like freezing two archer towers at the same time...

Blacksmith is the new building which is leaked probably used for adding new additional heroes ability.
i wonder if Archer and Wizard tower would be a couple if there will be time they can be merged
As a rusher who doesn't prioritise archer tower and canon ,i personally see this as an absolute loss😂😂
and then they make that thing a requirement to upgrade the TH again

Love the new content! I do wish though that we in the future switch between the two options so that if it turns out that the base defends better in certain situations against various attack strategies. It would be sad if there were to be limited to one option in those cases. If not, I hope I´m dead wrong and the merged option is always defending better. Let´s stay positive! (:
Once merged it decreases the amount of corners it can defend if tht tower is focused on one opponent u can easily spawn multiple enemies surrounding tht one defense it's a bigg flaw I don't get why yall saying it's smart .. maybe in the long run when they add more defenses to add .. but as of right now I consider a no go
Exactly what I was thinking too..also the building numbers got reduced..also the distance it take army to destroy also get reduced...
I think coc will counter that with extra hit points and dps to it in future inorder to compensate the building number reduction..!! Or they bring extra defences...
But as of now I am not going to upgrade and reduce the archer towers and canons 😅
@mthugs4458 yeah same until i notice a significant difference with max players against my th15/16 defense then I'll upgrade but if no difference is made there's no point other then to waste money and time
They'll eventually create an upgrade for the cannon to angle upwards at air troops

it is quite possible and is one of only solution to prevent overcrowding since both archer tower and canon have about 8 and 7 of them each,and quite shitty defense too
Are those the only ones that'll merge? I saw other defenses that haven't revealed an upgrade yet

It is better for the future TH and is definitely stronger. It is like comparing tesla to inferno tower.

I think I'll stick to my highly segmented defense strat, and I dont want to diminish my defensive spread.
So why only 2. What happens to the rest of the cannons and archer towers? Will they mever be merged?

You won't be able to profit as much from th 16, because merged buildings have the anti-rush mechanic of needing both cannons/buildings to be 21 before you can merge them

Ive been playing since 2015 and it still feels ridiculous waiting so long for upgrades, like why do we have to wait so many days just for a single upgrade

I just noticed that my newly completed combined cannons (ricochet cannons) are not even showing up on the defense replays. Apparently don’t exist when I am attacked. Wth? Huge bug! Fix it clash!

Funnily enough, the merged buildings are anti-rusher because you have to get both cannons/archer towers to 21 before merging. So yeah good luck

Even though it is an innovating feature, its just a nice way to justify why didn't they increased the overall base size... like its gonna happen one way or another, so why try to ignore it?
