- This tuned 2020 Corolla XSE has been turned into a beast!! The pops and crackles are so loud, this video doesn't do the sound justice! For a gas saving grocery getter, this is one heck of a car!!

There us absolutely no way this thing went from 169HP at the crank to 230HP to the wheels with just a flash. Car is NA and even with fbo its not possible to squeeze out that much extra power. Buddy got ripped off 💀

I came from a Stage 1 Mk7 R (DSG) and got one of these (6MT) when I needed to replace it from an accident. It's a fun car and it looks great even stock. I commute a lot and adaptive cruise on a manual is extremely rare. Only issue is the fake exhausts out the back 😒
I do like the sedan front, but I don't want to lose my fog lights. I am curious on what that badging is on the front.

it's an aftermarket grille badge, very popular within the tacoma/4runner communities. they come in just about any color combo you want including carbon fiber. Best quality is from TacoVinyl.
The opaque bits in the fake vents are the fog lights. Or at least where they would go.

I bought the first hatchback corolla in 2019 when they came out but returned it. It was too small for me and slow. I got an ST instead. Best of both worlds.
This goes stupid! I was debating between a 2022 civic hatchback 2.0 NA 6p or the 2022 hatchback SE but after seeing this, I’m definitely going with the rolla. Thanks for sharing!

I believe the best place is online, where I linked in the description! You work with them and they can tune it remotely! That is what this owner did.

I own a 2022 6MT SE manual and really like it, packed with tech for the price.I do have the heated steering wheels has I have a canadian spec one. I have done Cosmo racing Short shifter monkeywrench shifter bushing full window tint and I yellowed the bumper lights which give a classic JDM look. I'm planning on painting the galipers, RSR spring(only 1 inchdrop), progress tech rear sway bar, Monkeywrench stainless clutch line and grocery getter engine mount. I'll maybe try the short shifter from Monkeywrench wich is used directly on the transmision,not sure if it work because I already have a short shifter in the car!

This car reminds me of my 2011 scion tc, my tune is a bit more aggressive with the pops though, I'm thinking about getting one of these, but the engine seems to be even more of a dead end when it comes to preformance, it would have to be torn down for any more power, and custom at that

I think the SE interior looks better, with the white but damn I can't clean to save my life. But I also bought a 2022 flame blue hatchback with a 6mt. I'm still not sure if I like it. I love the way it looks, I get compliments on the color all the time even dirty af. I just hate not being able on dirt roads without feeling like I'm destroying it

Decals are what makes a true Stance, modified race car stand out and looks good. Not everybody wants a boring looking OEM Exterior. If that's what you're into good for you, but im a modify my car the way I want it to look. Not the way someone else expects it to look.

It’s not 239 hp until it’s Dyno’d. It’s all sound so dont drive like its a high hp car. You should drive it with care..

I’m getting a 24 corolla hatchback. And though 169hp isn’t fast. I’m coming from a 2013 chevy sonic. And that sits at 138hp… i think i will be plenty happy with the power. Lol

Dude, love the looks, sedan front bumper is dope, wheels look really good too, screw brand snobs. That exhaust with the burble tune is irritating AF though. It gives car enthusiasts a bad name. It's the reason more strict laws get put in place limiting what mods we can do. It's not a rally car with antilag, nor are you on a race track, so please have some respect for the communities you live in, and help better represent car enthusiasts and give us a better image not a worse one.

The only way car enthusiasts could have a good image is if they were all driving Prius that couldn't get pass the speed limit and made no sound. We want to get the most out of our cars performance and looks, you know, have a car that's different to what everyone drives. That means the main focus is what we like, not what the general population does. I'm not going to think about the old lady across the street while I shop for parts.

the rear of this corolla looks horrendous. the previous gen looks better. this looks like the rear end got smashed in. they followed the mazda 3 design on this chassis ughh. tell the dummies at toyota to slap the 3 cylinder in this chassis to compete with the civic si. a 210hp fwd corolla does not take away from the gr corolla and not even from the rebadged subaru they are selling.

@@cinadrueGR is significantly more expense than $6k over this. Also consider insurance, fuel mileage, maintenance, and markups.
@@s5SnipEmo you can get a grc for msrp now and days, youd 10000% need more maintance on a turbo kit car running stock internals, well even a built block will need more maintence than a stock grc, fuel milage on the grc can get easily over 30mpg check their subreddit, i doubt a tuned turbo kit car can get anywhere near that. and most importantly imagine the cost of depreciation and eventual blown engine because you didnt want to get a stock car with more power than you'd make adding a turbo to your NA car.
not to mention that 6k was just on the turbo kit, not supporting mods like and ecu, tune, break kit (def need this if you want grc+) easily an additional 3k
