Hey, great video. It's cool that these movies are getting 3D versions at the Movies. I'm so happy as I'm a big fan of 3D films and have been from the start, my dad was actually the one who got me into 3D and I can't wait for more films to hopefully release in the format.
It will be amazing to finally see Indiana Jones in 3D, I've always wanted a conversion. And it goes without saying, Guardians 3 will be incredible. But my #1 most anticipated is Antman: Quantumania. If they do it justice and those scenes in the Quantum Realm are anywhere near as impressive as they were in Antman 2, it will be absolutely mindblowing!
@@EbNorth Hasn't been released on 3D blu-ray yet (July 12th exclusively from Amazon Japan), but I caught an IMAX showing and the 3D was... meh. It wasn't completely flat, but it certainly wasn't on par with the better Marvel releases. It definitely had its impressive moments, but overall fell short of its potential, given the quality of the Quantum Realm scenes in the first two Antman films. Much like most Marvel movies the past couple years, it felt like it was rushed through.
Your right, I can't wait for Elemental, Super Mario, and Guardians 3 to all come out in 3D (the last two I actually saw their trailers in 3D at the theater). Transformers, though, I never really got into it and I have no plans to. If what I hear about the new Indiana Jones movie is true regarding its plot and the test audience reactions, I don't think it'll deserve the time of day. Actually, I think a Raiders of the Lost Ark 3D conversion would be fantastic, considering how surprisingly good Jaws (the original 1975 version) looked in 3D last year. Personally, I'm excited to see Ant Man: Quantumania in 3D. Based on how the last two films looked and where this film is going to take place, I can imagine it'll look incredible in 3D. But yeah, I agree with most of your picks and I can't wait to see what you think of them.
I have a feeling 3d is slowly coming back. New antman 3d coming, the rise of gru coming out in 3d. New avatar and vudu has mario bros in 3d. Plus I noticed vudu has been cranking out 3d titles left and right.
Man it was amazing to see Avatar 2 in Imax 3D and it really made me excited again for all the new 3D films that are coming out! My #1 Is Transformers... Did you see that Cheetah and the guerilla! damn Can't waiiiit!!!
3D ain’t dead yet.😅 As more people add home theaters with large screens and newer projectors (so much better than 3D TVs) they will discover the added experience in watching 3D videos. Whats that song they used for the GOTG trailer? Probably my favorite trailer out of the bunch, feels sad yet there's really nothing they show to be sad about. Mario is probably the movie I'm looking forward to the most - and in 3D! Which is a nice surprise. The trailers looks great in 3D too. Transformers starting to showcase its 90s toyline. Looks cool, still surprised the dinobots never got their own movie. Indie... ah hopefully it'll surprise me. Personally they should have recast and rebooted it 20 years ago - my unpopular opinion there. The Pixar logo doesn't get me excited anymore. But I did enjoy Soul and I just heard the 3D edition of Soul absolutely exits and is now available in China on some kind of VR service. Anyway - its fun to see you try out a new format. Hope it hits gold!

Hi Tommy - I like this format of looking ahead to the up-coming 3D cinema releases. I’m sure GOTG3 will be fantastic - volume 2 certainly was. If these new films make it to 3d bluray then I’m thinking of upgrading to laser projection as I’ve heard the extra brightness really improves the 3d and is just as good as the laser projection used in high end theatres. Transformers previous 3d releases were very good -pity ‘Bumblebee’ wasn’t , but it did have a good storyline and was worth another watch.
Let me know if go with the laser projection. I'm sure it would be a short throw and it would be inches from the screen. I'm still not ready to upgrade but heck if it is tons brighter I may.
I’m now introducing my two kids to 3D, I only have 2 pairs of active shutter glasses so I have to watch it with them without glasses🙄but that’s ok…my kids absolutely love it & they find it quite magical ! …as you’re a big movie fan you may enjoy the Forrest Gump Parody I made, it’s on my channel, called ‘Forrest Chump’…took me 3 years to finish so I hope you enjoy it. I think Ant Man 3, Super Mario Movie, GOTG3, Shazam 2, and Aquaman 2 for my top 5. I'm also interested in Flash (because of how ridiculous the whole ezra miller scenario has been yet the movie wasn't cancelled) Dune part 2 should be better than part 1 but I wouldn't say part 1 hooked me.
It's funny after you posted this video I had a look and saw that my local theater is playing Ant Man and The Wasp Quantumania in 3D next month, this is very uncommon cause I live in the South Island of New Zealand and basically no films have come out in 3D since 2016 in NZ with the exception of the Avatar remaster and Avatar 2. I hope all these other films that you've mentioned also get a 3D release in New Zealand

I'm excited for the Mario movie as well and honestly, I feel like I should sit down and watch the 93 Mario movie before seeing the new because I only ever saw it once maybe a decade ago and I don't remember much from so it'd be cool to see the new one with the 93 film fresh in my head. I'm not too interested in Transformers so I'm gonna skip that one. But Indiana Jones I'm gonna go see. I recently rewatched Last Crusade on my phone because I wanted to watch something in HDR to test that out (my phone is the only HDR thing I have) and it was great to see that movie again after not watching it for a few years. And I hope this new movie is better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I'm also not too interested in Guardians of the Galaxy so I'm gonna pass on that. One honorable for me is Titanic. I've never seen that movie so I feel like going to a theater to see it ion 3D would be amazing. I'll probably try to go for a Dolby 3D showing of all of what I'm interested in if they do it at the Dolby theater in my area
@@TommyBoy3D another thing as well about Titanic actually, I was about to rent it on a VR movie streaming platform called Bigscreen VR because they had the 3D version there but the reason I held off was because I found out about the theater issue so I figured it would be better to go see it on the big screen in real life instead of on a VR headset.
You can usually bet on marvel and Disney having 3d bluray releases. But I don't know what they'll do with something like Indiana Jones. Transformers always gets one too.

Black panther Wakanda Forever went up for pre-order on Thursday in Japan, I’m glad somewhere is still supporting the 3D format in the home video market. That being said, Australia are still doing movies here, and there like Jurassic World Dominion & spider-Man no way home. Then you’ve got the Jumanji box set, which includes both 4K and 3D discs. I just wish there was more 3-D content in the home video market and it wasn’t just essentially locked to theatrical release exclusively. I just feel right now that Lucasfilm are robbing Star Wars fans of finally, having the first six Star Wars movies on 3D, especially considering the prequel trilogy at the very least is finished and is collecting dust. I’m keeping my digits crossed right now for way of water to get a home video 3D release. Honestly, though I wouldn’t say no if it was 3D@2160p which may be the option of high frame rate. So then that way hopefully we can get something like a four discs set of a 4K 3D 4K 2D, Blu-ray 3D Blu-ray 2D. Hopefully this movie can rejuvenate the Blu-ray 3D home video market with any luck? Not a big fan of Avatar (2009) franchise in general, but if it gets to rejuvenate the 3D home video market, I’m all for it.

The MCU movies are always great, but I am most looking forward to finally seeing Indiana Jones in 3D!

I buy them from wherever I can get what I want. Just make sure your player handles the region code. I try to buy region free from the UK.
