Pro wrestlers are really just a bunch of petty, immature teenagers at heart it seems.
blah blah blah, hurt, blah blah, tired, blah, children and muffins
Yeah, they’re so dumb lol
And there marks for themselves
I like to call them theater kids who lift weights sometimes.
Same way wrestling fans are too lmao
“Smackdown is like high school”
Proceeds to be proven completely correct.
Jbl hardcore holly and Benoit were the worst thing to happen to that smackdown locker room.
@@MarsKidd27I’m genuinely surprised Benoit could see where he was going with his head so far up his own ass
We had a mock court think like that for a while in my school... in the 6th grade. Don't insult High School students like that, they would never demean themselves with something that stupid.
@@dantheman8103 We clearly didn't go to the same kind of high school, because at mine they absolutely would have done this if they'd had the brains to think it up.
Wrestler's court stories are always embarrassing as hell, but rarely for the wrestlers 'on trial'
How tf you "force" a grown man to buy another grown man dinner for a month? Lmao.
When I heard "blew off advice from Eddie Gurrero" I knew the punishment would come from Benoit.
Boy I couldn’t imagine the headache being a rookie on the SmackDown roster in the mid 2000s.
Just ask the Miz
@@Braylon1997 saw that clip of him talking about the incident. Sounded rough to say the least
Why am I not surprised a number of these involve JBL?
Or the murderous Benoit.
wrestler's court: vince was too busy to be the boss, so vince told JR to be the boss, so JR told everyone to work it out amongst themselves, so they all just bully the fuck out of each other over petty shit like secondary school kids. WWE was run by the seat of its pants, pants which had been comically ripped off by a cartoon bulldog
Paul London getting heat for selling that clothesline from Snitski was bs
Then fired for smiling
@@claymathewselevator8121 apparently London himself confirmed he didn't get fired for that as he was still there a year after
The Tyler Bate story is especially wild considering how highly regarded that Pete Dunne match was at Chicago
Paul London seemed to get in trouble a lot for seemingly innocuous reasons. Like that time he got eliminated from the Royal Rumble by doing a flip that was considered good, but too good or smiling before Vince's limo exploding.
Melina and Michelle McCool got in trouble after their title unification match at Night of Champions 2010 for being TOO GOOD.
A referee once got a tongue-lashing by Vince because he did exactly what WWE referees are explicitly instructed to do. What a horrible boss. Even without the abuse, he is a *horrible* boss.
If that's not a microcosm of the Divas era, I don't know what is
@@payrysdoscs4903 And Vince's controlling nature in general.
@@payrysdoscs4903 Also I'm pretty sure Michelle had to stop using her finisher because it looked too impactful, it really was a terrible time.
@@Emper0rH0rde what?
Man that Booker T one disappointed me. Being angry because wrestlers went out and had a great match (which is what they're supposed to do) is beyond petty.
....at a house show, no less. 🤦🏾♂️
Plenty of stories paint Booker as a bellend. He doesn't seem far off the levels of Bradshaw and Bob Holly.
It's like Benoit was a terrible person all along. Him and Bradshaw seem to be bullies.
On top of that, he used a Britney Spears' analogy to explain his anger lol.
Getting heat for going to a chiropractor? Oh screw off thats so petty
Exactly
Dude, in that situation you really need to tell that guy to screw off and get out of your face.
Wrestler's court is one of the weirdest things I've ever learned about, it's like frat boys pretending to be the supreme court. "You slept with his girlfriend and pooped in his boot.....100 jumping jacks, Buy me beer, and your new character eats butts"
It's kind of funny to think there was a point in time when Steve Austin and Mick Foley were envious of Marc Mero, since they ended up achieving so much more than Marc could have ever hoped for.
For the record it wasn't even Benoit's bag.
It was Scott Armstrong's who was cool about the whole thing but Benoit wasn't.
Yeah, it's like there was something wrong with him. Like taking brutal shots to the head year after year scrambled his brains and made him insane or something.
Seriously though, I remember that traditionally when a vet exiled someone the way Benoit did to Miz, they could only come back when that same veteran said it was okay. But shortly after Miz' exile the... unpleasantness... occurred and Benoit wasn't around to lift the exile anymore. So Taker lifted it and said, paraphrasing, that if anyone had a problem with it then they were free to tell him (Taker) to his face that he didn't have the authority.
@@Veladus wonder if Miz laughed to himself after hearing what Benoit did
@@fanofbioshock2nolastname861 dude was probably like "damn, how tf am i gonna get back in there now?" Lol.
@jackgonahieu4999 which also sucks because it was weeks later till Undertaker stopped the punishment
Miz also had that really bad botch where he dropped that one wrestler (I forget his name, young black dude) on his head when he failed to catch him off a rope jump. That's the type of shit that WILL get you in the dog house with the other wrestlers.
Imagine using an ice pack to cool your swelling foot and fucking John Cena comes over screaming at you 😭
Like come on, really😒
I don't care, imma use this icepack 😂
I'd be more afraid at the fact I'd hear screaming but can't see anybody.
I would then throw at John Cena's big rock head as he walking away!
@@banterinthefastlane6647well done
John Cena would be screaming for a different reason if he did that too me.
Booker, if you genuinely believe that you and Rey Mysterio can't put on a better match together than Paul London and Sylvain Grenier, that's more of a you problem, my guy.
Wrestlers court is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard and only bullied and abused and kept in line “lower tier” wrestlers
Not a fan
Coming from a career that had similar courts, the idea is it’s supposed to be fun, in the end someone pays some beer or something, and it’s all good. Problem comes when the folks at the top start taking themselves too seriously.
It's honestly needed. I mean bosses just fire or fine you, OR not care at all🤷🏼 plus not all "offenses" are criminal. Would you rather your crew handle light offenses and the punishment be by so and so a case of beer for some childish offense or would you rather Vince McMahon give you a $50,000 fine??? Plus we all know most of these guys are giant pranking raided basket cases of hormones😅 😅
@@Matrim42 perfectly put, its meant to be a fun way to keep those who maybe going astray (usually younger talent) a warning before the "office" starts having to intervene. And then the odd thing for a silly mishap maybe missing a flight for some silly reason etc. Problem is before long the bullies take charge and start using it as a way to bully people
It reminds me of the practice of “fagging” in boarding schools in Britain and the former empire, which was intended by senior teachers as a way for older boys to keep younger boys in order but resulted in systematic bullying and abuse.
I get second hand embarrassment when former WWE Wrestlers talk about it. How do you say all that... tell all those stories... on purpose... and not want to die of shame?
Of all the things CM Punk bxtched about, wrestlers court was definitely one agree with.
That Booker T one is not only incredibly petty, it also feels like a self burn from him. If the opening match goes super well, that should make you step up your performance, not get upset at the other wrestlers for doing really well. Otherwise you're basically admitting you can't perform at the level deserving of being a main eventer.
From what I recall, Miz's punishment went on longer than it should have because Benoit killed himself. Eventually people realized Miz still wasn't changing the locker room, and that he stuck to the punishment for so long in spite of who gave the sentence earned him respect.
I heard that, too. Absolutely ridiculous!
Yeah, Benoît was something of a prankster.
Looking back, someone should have told Miz his punishment was not only over but expunged from his record after what Benoit did.
I love Benoit found spilling chicken so unforgivable... I remember before he killed himself everyone tripped over themselves to say he was such a sweetheart... yet he clearly was always an azzhole. Never trust wrestlers when they talk about what "nice guy" one of their own is, these people grade on a curve.
@coldsnap5742 just watched that episode. so good
The more I hear about this Chris Benoit fellow, the more I think he wasn't a very nice man.
Of course, considering what he did in 2007, its like icing on the worst cake ever.
With Vince gone i really hope these old school traditions die out. So many wrestlers that could've had an opportunity to get over. I had to quit the business due to gatekeeping, nepotism, politics, and racism. It was indie wrestling but still had some connections with wwe. I wanna get in the ring so bad again :/
Isn't that what AEW try to do, like have everybody be friends, but in the end it went downhill with uncontrollable backstage fights and mean girls drama in the women's locker room?
@@Airjet2582 Right... we just need some sort of... middle ground. Maybe a wrestling court that is conducted with maturity and sincerity.
@@waitselljones8068 a Boss that acts as a boss, the court started because Vince said he was too busy to care for the wrestlers little stuff, which makes sense but letting juiced up dudes watch over everything isn't a good idea, should've hired someone for that shit.
I am so glad that most locker rooms nowadays don't have this kind of bull anymore because most of the bad people are gone (that we know of).
I’m so glad WWE has such a positive locker room environment in this new regime, Vince and his regime were so toxic backstage. It was unnecessarily ridiculous, bunch of big jacked up petty delusional. People led by an even more jacked up delusional, petty old man.
getting rid of Holly and JBL has helped
They sound like absolute immature crybabies.. wrestlers court is so damn stupid.
For the Booker one, I'd shrug my shoulders and say "Well, I guess you better work hard then, huh?"
Benoit banning people left and right just to be banned himself is always going to be hilarious.
Almost as funny as Hardcore Holly's case, dude is only known for being a bully and getting dropped on his head by Lesnar for trying that shit on him lol.
To this day I don't know if that was a botch or brock was teaching him a lesson not to bully.@@jackgonahieu4999
To be fair to Matt Hardy Eve Torres's full name is Eve Torres-GRACIE. She's been with Renier Gracie for years and is a head trainer at Gracie University.
That's what I was thinking: she's a legit grappler. Her against a drunk Matt Hardy was always going to end badly for him.
All these years, and I've still never heard a good-hearted JBL story. His peers make him seem like such an unnecessary d-bag.
JBL is so toxic that Putin is trying to find a way to put him in tea.
Well for your enjoyment know that when JBL was playing for the Raiders I think, Howie Long used to bully him in the locker room all the time
@@billblaski9523 I don't take any enjoyment/gratification, or pleasure from that knowledge. 😐 "This is how it was done to me, so this is what it's gonna be for you!" over-sized, man baby, fraternity, hazing mentality? That's just fcvk!ng sad. Pathetic, really.
Getting his comeuppance for taking in-ring liberties on in-ring talent, and eventually resigning for his unfavorable comments towards Mauro Ranallo were more than enough for me, personally.
Still, no lie, he did work a dope, generic, bland b!tch clothesline. Ha ha
The Miz's punishment was ridiculous but he came on top in the WWE later
If someone yelled at me for using a provided medical service I’d tell them to f off
Haa!
They got mad at Matt Stryker for saying it was like Highschool and in return, they acted like a bunch of Highschool jerks.
Can't imagine how he developed the opinion in the first place.
😆👍
High School students would never do something so cringy and embarrassing, don't be knocking high school kids like that.
Sometimes I watch videos like this and I think
"Hmmm.... maybe Chris Benoit actually WAS an overaggressive jerk sometimes."
Paul London has also gotten in trouble with management for selling a royal rumble elimination too well.
Imagine people being mad at you because you're good at your job
How did you miss Trish’s name in the diva dodgeball part? She was literally the captain.
and literally on the thumbnail
God damn the pettiness.
The Vince McMahon era in 4 words
Roid rage and competitiveness will do strange things to people.
"Ya bell end!" - Adam Pacitti
I despise JBL
Believe me, you're not the only one. I loathe him, too.
We all do.
Respect to Bart Gunn and little Joey Styles for each knocking JBL out.
@@BAztid The fact Joey Styles has knocked him out is fucking amazing.
It's interesting how Tony Khan (rightfully) receives criticism for not putting his foot down and controlling the locker room, yet people praise Wrestler's Court? I guess the difference is, Vince probably enjoyed the fact that Bradshaw, Ol' Sparky Plug and Undertaker were massive picks. These stories also highlight what a bellend Benoit and Booker were/are too.
No one has ever praised the wrestlers court, people praise WWE's current locker room.
The Miz one is ridiculous for a few reasons, mostly for the length of the punishment…but, how ignorant of others do you have to be to eat over someone’s open bag? Lol
JBL and Boby Holly are the experts in rubbing young wrestlers on a wrong way,
Benoit was little bit.
facts
Well it was Al Snow who said it best that the wrestling industry is full of primadonas.
The Matt Striker one makes sense. I was wrestling at this one show, and hadn't had time to go backstage and shake everyone's hands because I had been helping set up the ring, by the time I had the opportunity everyone was looking at me like I was the scum of the earth. And by god, you better not be a meta actor when it comes to your character if you're a loner or a heel.
I Thought the Hardyz were made to Damage Don Callis's rental car as The Jackal had major Heat of his own at the time.
The takeaway from this category of lists is always that JBL and Benoit were complete and utter tools. (Miz should have been more considerate about his lunch, mind)
Having heat for having a good match is a WTF moment
Huh, good to know some of these heat has added context like the Edge and Christian action figure bribe and the Divas lose in a dodge-ball match.
For years, I always wondered what happened to Carlito’s bodyguard, Jesus after Armageddon 2004.
Same
Matt Striker deserved better. Not only was he a better wrestler than those who teased him, he was better looking too. Wrestlers need to get some perspective. Cuz they act like that popular girl clique in Mean Girls. Only those girls were funny. Also fictional.
No wonder why the writers are so miserable... Make friends with a wrestler and you get yelled at.
2:38 Mrs Cool did this all her grown-up life
Paul London missed an opportunity with the one in top spot there. Should've replied "I respect you Booker, man."
The Miz thing is completely justifiable. Beyond rude and insanely disgusting to eat and get food on someone's clean clothes
Other than the Eve story, the rest of the video is just childish. The fact that people let them get away with it is ridiculous
Eve Torres is at least a Blue Belt in BJJ. And she married into the Gracie family as well.
I could buy it.
@@michaelsinger4638 I could too. Even if she wasn’t that is the only entry where I agreed he got what he deserved. The rest is just stupid made up politics. I can’t use a chiropractor who the company is paying cause I’m not a top guy or ice packs? Fuck you
Just remember, the biggest marks are the wrestlers themselves
Sounds like a lot of wrestlers are petty immature assholes about pretty much everything
The worst part about the Miz story is that he wasnt allowed in the Locker Room even after Benoit died.
Apparently, part of the punishment was that only Benoit could let him back in and after he was gone, Miz was still acting out the punishment until Taker stepped in.
You’d think Benoit being a vile child murderer would immediately void the punishment
Imagine the outside world hearing about all this, WWE would be a laughing stock
It makes me mad how much power Bob Holly had in the locker room knowing how mid of a wrestler and entertainer he was
He didn't even seem that tough. I mean don't get me wrong, he could kick my ass without trying... today... if I was back in y 20's and he was the age he is today. That being said, seemed every time he tried to target an actual tough guy they put him in his place. The picture of a bully. My guess is he got away with it mostly by trying to never target anyone who could do anything about it.
Fun fact. After wrestlers are released, they usually get independent bookings by a promoter talking to someone else and then that person relaying it to whomever is a friend with their number. So, anyone can pass a message along to get in contact with an interested promoter. The promoter only needs to manage to get ahold of any WWE wrestler. This system worked. When Holly got released, a promoter tried to get in touch this way. Only this time it didn't work out because NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON in the looker room considered Sparky Plug a friend and had his number.
dude had issues
Everything on this list proves why wrestlers court is absolutely fucking silly.I don't understand why anyone would be mad for a wrestler taking care of their health. Especially if it's your fellow wrestling peers hearing these petty little instances are the reason why people make fun of the wrestling industry.
So high schoolers in steroids, sounds about right.
Fuck Wrestlers Court ...FUCK HAZING ...fuck Bullying of ANY KIND ...HOLY FACK ...FUCKING VINCE ...AND this is how he dealt with his locker room
Fucking insane ...just wow ...
NO BABY OIL!
now that one is just funny
I can get kicking someone out of the locker room for a few weeks for being inconsiderate enough to eat food over someone else's gear, but the Miz took way too harsh a punishment
LA Knight got heat for getting himself popular.
Ironically I called Paul London being on this list…but I had him down for people complaining that his spot at the royal rumble (you all know the one) was too good a spot for him…and now they play that spot all the time.
One of The Highlanders got fired for going to a TNA show
Honestly kind of agree with that one. They fired a Coke driver for being filmed drinking a Pepsi (or maybe it was vice versa). You represent the company so it is a bad look to be doing that.
Matt Stryker: Smackdown is like high school
Smackdown Wrestlers: *start acting like high school bullies*
Way to prove his point.
Why I felt Matt was being facetious
What about Ricky Steamboat, having to have to drop the IC-title, because he wanted some days off for the birth of his son
Oof on vince for doing that
That story about striker is half right, he only got heat from jbl and Bradshaw backed off after striker went outside and said do what you gotta do
I loved Bradshaw in the APA, but man is he ever a POS backstage.
Same. I'll always be a fan of his 'Clothesline from Hell,' but I just can't get myself to be a fan of someone like that.
@@BlazeStar2095 the JBL character was a big downfall
The more I hear about "Wrestler's Court" the more it just sounds like institutionalized bullying
I first heard of the Hardys plane story when I read their book
The level of pettiness shown here is just as absurd as Pro Wrestling it self.
Booker T is Britney🤣🤣🤣
Jesus Christ, the 'good ol days', and obsession therein, was really fuckin' fucked and just typical muscle-headed jock shit. Although I was about to say that 'the talent now might be 'softer' because they play video games backstage, but they're much better as people', then the Tyler Bate entry came up... I still think that's largely/fundamentally true, even if the Bate one is just as ridiculous/petty as the others... Also, Eve is a married Gracie, so she's down on that BJJ tip, so fuck all that shit too...
6:30 Kane is legit like the nicest guy.
Sounds like a toxic environment back in the day.
Re: the last one about having “too good of an opener,” I see the logic, depending on what was done. Its one thing to put on a good match and keep the crowd entertained, but as a promoter, you don’t wanna create an environment where everybody is going so hard, balls to the wall, that you burn the crowd out on the stuff that’s supposed to draw money. Every portion of the show is supposed to have a purpose, and while you don’t want to encourage anyone to stink up the joint, there is such a thing as knowing your role and playing it accordingly.
Dude shut up
This is awesome this is Awesome
I love the wwe locker room we have now compared to 20/15 years ago
How many of these are going to involve JBL and/or Hardcore Holly
The divas dodgeball story was soo funny to me.
So, Benoit was a dick? This is the first I've heard of this.
(Sarcasm heavily implied)
Matt Striker was Andre Chase before Andre Chase
I lost it at the Booker T Britney Spears analogy
McMahon allowing this shit to go on for so long is insane. Can you imagine what the women went through that still hasn’t been uncovered? These ‘enforcer’ guys like JBL, and Hardcore Holly are pathetic too and I hope karma gets them someday. Just idiots that got excited they were given power
Thanks 🎉
undertaker did what to matt hardy?!
I agree with CM Punk's opinion of wrestler's court
Eve’s husband is BJJ royalty. Not surprised she choked Hardy out.
Wrestlers really are a bunch of delicate little babies, aren't they?
So what I've learnt is Cody and Seth have bought Brian some new action figures?
6:56
Wait so what about the part about the accused (Hardys) being "punished" and the sentence: pull pranks on Don Callis
More like 10 ways to get a one way trip to "Heat Island."
Stryker was wrong. The locker room is not like college or like high school it’s more like a bunch of preschoolers that were never told no because they’re all children and they’re being paid and called professionals. That’s a joke.
Most preschoolers are more mature than these people
Crazy how undertaker is THE judge, If he said "enough", so it's enough
I mean, would YOU tell him "no" ?
