Every Seiko Astron I’ve seen on display including the one I own isn’t properly aligned. The seconds hand doesn’t hit the indices spot on and the minutes hand doesn’t hit the indices either when the seconds hand is at 00. Still love my SSH113 but it’s kinda disappointing
I bought an SSH135 in Sydney Australia and the hands on mine align nicely. Note, that with the 5X53 movement, there is a procedure described in the, "Complete User Guide" (as opposed to the "Handy Manual"), which describes how to manually align the hands, should they ever become misaligned.
@@beardymcbeardface69 it’s more likely that the chapter ring and the indices aren’t placed correctly. You can’t correct that with the procedure outlined in the manual.
@@dragonforces Oh right, in that case you need to take it back to Seiko then. Because yes, although some of the hands can be aligned separately, the second, minute and hour are aligned together, so if your chapter ring is not centred, it will need a service.
Looks Awesome! Perfect Lume love the inner ring indices placement

That's really strange because mine and everyone I've owned all lined up perfectly
@@EricSloferwatchreviews I’d love to see a top down photo of the one you’re showing here with the hands showing exactly 4:20:00
