@@colesmith7509 She didn't attempt any leaps or jumps right after front walkover in QF / TF if I remember correctly. Usually, those connection incur 0.1-0.2 slow connection deductions. And if the gymnast isn't flexible enough, each split can cost 0.1-0.3 deductions.
Emma does gymnastics very elegantly. I am very happy for Emma, but I think Ondine Achampong was a little better. Ondine had more difficulties and was deducted too much.
@@eimardgomes1128 I’m not blaming her. nothing in her beam routine except the side aerial LOSO would have been considered worthy of a European champion 15 years ago. It was the same with kinsella back in 2019. Seriously go watch the 2007 Europeans it’s on TH-cam and the diversity and difficulty of routines is so much more impressive (not to mention the stability the gymnasts performed with, way less balance checks). Just in the first routine (Alina Kozich who didn’t even medal) there was stuff like L-turn + front toss and onodi + side somi and yes many routines had double pike or triple twist dismounts

She has a smart and concise routine construction (8 elements with a round-off).

American gymnasts mostly don't have an interesting mount so what.

Yes they have but on beam many athletes with potential higher scores had a fall either in qualification or in the final.....
Not necessarily, Brazil just hit better in pan and than these teams. Italy is well capable of high 13s and put those numbers up in team finals

Its sad that these are the standards of a european gold medal routine, there used to be level 9 gymnasts who can challenge this.
