The young monitor, bright green lizard, crabs, and fungi look absolutely stunning on my 4k monitor! Loved the lil birdy in the background sauntering towards the croc who promptly slides back into the water. And I audibly gawped at what must be the world’s fattest croc basking in the sun, happy as Larry. Top notch work, Millie. 🤗
That green lizard you saw is called the Green Crested Lizard (Bronchocela cristatella). This Lizard is native in our Lion City and endemic to Southeast Asia. When threatened it will change into a darker, browner colour. In Singapore, the range of the green crested lizard is declining, as it is in competition with the introduced species Calotes versicolor (changeable lizard). Do take note that when you are in Sungei Buloh or any other nature reserve, do remember to do a double check before you put your hand on the handrails or rope rails. Reason because snakes like the venomous Shore Pit / Mangrove Pit Viper likes to hang around low lying branches and some of them can be near those handrails, even mildly venomous ones like the Paradise Tree snakes and Oriental Whip Snake can sometimes be seen slithering along the handrails. Remember safety first :)
Thank you for another great Vlog. We saw an Oriental Whip Snake on Pulau Ubin, but didn't know the name, thank you. Horseshoe crabs, how wonderful! The Visitors Centre is definitely worth a visit, and crocodiles, what a fabulous day you had. Will definitely go there next trip.
I love love love your videos & appreciate that you guys go around exploring the nature of SG, showing them in your vlogs. There are people who do not like SG, branding us as a man-made city with fake nature, a boring place. So your videos actually shows everyone that there's lots to explore & do in SG 😊🥰 Good job & keep up the good vlogs!
Great experience, I dint know that there were som much to explore on the northern coast of S-pore. Looks almost like Borneo when we were there a few month ago. Have a nice weekend!
I think this one is a little harder to reach perhaps and seems far away but with the busses that run is pretty simply to get to actually. And as you can see SO worth it!
nice you spotted our huge carpenter bees. They're some of the biggest in the world :D They dont really sting, dont make nests and they look really cute when they stuff themselves into those big wild ginger flowers
Thats a very good place to chilled out at sungei Buloh. I used to visited that place 3 to 4 times a year. You just literally own that place for its peace n tranquility. Good place too for a family outing. Keep up the good work guys ❤❤❤
It’s a very special place and great to keep returning as you see different things each time you go. Thanks for your support with our channel. Very appreciated.
Year of Dragon..so Crocodiles also not shy to show face...Normally hard to spot them...U guys are lucky as these crocs also know that today is less crowded due to CNY..😅😍🥰..Happy Chinese New Dragon Year to All!!
Yes you guys were indeed lucky. I went in November 2023 but I didn't see any. Did you check out the goat farm which just just outside sungei boloh? They just shifted to this new premise.
Hello friend, I always enjoy watching your videos, this place looks amazing, my husband & I just returned from our Malaysia trip. 😊 Hope we stay in touch. 💜
Hi guys. It's been a long time since I've left a comment. Always love your vlog of our nature. Still not keen on mountain biking in our nature. I think u guys will love it since you love nature. Will be something new for your guys and our viewers too😊 As mentioned before you can rent a mountain bike at the Chestnut Nature Reserve. But i dont know if they still have a bike rental shop there as its been about 2 years I've been there. Miss your food hunt in JB. I think you only did one vlog of JB right? Hope to see more food hunts in JB😊 Keep up the great educational vlogs guys😊
Here there! Nice to hear from you again. We've been to JB a few more times but you're right, we only have one video. now the weather is dryer I'll have another look at the mountain biking. I'm thinking a mid week day would be less busy to allow the kids (and me) to get used to it. Thanks for the support!
Yes mid week day would be better and let the weather be drier so it wouldn't be muddy. I was suggesting as you guys love the nature and it would be a different experience. You might even see some wild boars roaming around. Just be careful to ride slowly as it's nit as easy as the normal road riding. I just binge watched all your Malacca trip today😊 Really love seeing places through you guys.
While exploring Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, 3 tourists wander off the official paths and get lost. They then arrive at the bank of a wide river infested with man-eating crocodiles, with only a small wooden raft and paddle nearby. The tourists can see the usual official paths opposite the river bank leading them back to safety. As they happily start to prepare to cross the river using the raft, 3 primeval cannibals appear and join them at the river bank. The 3 tourists reckon the raft can only carry at most 2 beings (2 tourists or 2 cannibals or 1 tourist, 1 cannibal) without giving way and sinking. At any moment, at either bank of the river, if there are more cannibals than tourists, the cannibals will eat the tourists at that bank. Any of the tourists or cannibals is capable of paddling to cross the river. The 3 cannibals also want to end up at opposite bank in the hope of becoming "decannibalized". How are the 3 tourists going to safely cross the river and also end up having the 3 cannibals at opposite bank, i.e. have all 6 beings join civilization at opposite bank?
Example attempts: (T:tourist, C:cannibal) Starting situation: Bank Opposite Bank -------- ----------------------- TTT CCC Attempt 1: Bank Opposite Bank -------- ----------------------- (1) T paddles boat across TT T CCC (Oops, CCC eat TT) Attempt 2: Bank Opposite Bank -------- ----------------------- (1) C paddles boat across TTT CC C (2) C paddles boat back TTT CCC (Oops, back to starting situation) Attempt 3: Bank Opposite Bank -------- ----------------------- (1) TC paddle boat across TT T CC C (2) T paddles boat back TTT CC C (3) TC paddle boat across TT T C CC (Oops, CC eat T)

Glad you’ve enjoyed Sungei Buloh and it’s lovely to see Milo and Aspen being excited with nature too. If you’re visiting the coastal areas, do be careful about phone signals. You can prevent your phone from jumping on to a Malaysian carrier by switching off Auto Network Selection. That way, you’ll be on your own provider’s network unless that really disappears.
Thanks for the tip abut the phones. Another good tip, just don't use it! Enjoy the nature. Turns out East Coast park is the largest Npark. For feeling large, Sungei Buloh is actually quite small. I think the variety makes it feel so much larger.
Wow, 6 crocs...😬yikes....love ur nature videos😊
We were so blessed with the stunning nature! Helps to provide good content 😉😊
I think you are the best person to take the kids ( students ) trekking and show Singapore nature's to them.
Aww thanks! It would be fun to do tour groups.

Glad you enjoyed this video and pleased to hear you'll pay a visit next time you are here. Binoculars would be a good idea if you have some.
Best parent, spend time with your family,❤❤❤❤❤❤
We do our best, it’s important to inspire our children around nature and the amazing things of the world!
Singapore Jurassic Park! Marvelous , who can deny Nparks done a super job to rival GBTB or SBG. This park should get a recognition award by UNESCO too
Agreed! The way this park and all of its biodiversity is still accessible in a city like this is incredible!

Thank you! Yes, Singapore has much more depth than it is given credit for! Glad you enjoy our videos - we’ll endeavour to bring you more!
I love how you guys show us all these parts of Singapore that people usually miss
I do hope more people can find out about these spots and pay a visit.
Crazy shots captured! 👍🏻👍🏻
We were blessed with incredible nature to shoot! Such a rich area in terms of its biodiversity!
Such a wonderful and fun experience to see all those animals in one place. Fantastic vlog and I love seeing the kids enjoying their day xx🦋💜
Aww thank you! Glad we can share it with you. x
Another nice video, wonderful cinematography, excellent editing! 👏👏👏
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
FIY, the red back dark blue bird is a scarlet backed flower pecker.
Thank you! It was beautiful and Jonty said he was super lucky to catch it!
WOAH! All of this in one nature park in Singapore? It's like going on safari, but the tropical version!!
Pretty amazing right?!
A great video really enjoyed it . Thank you
Thanks so much!
we have deer here too. the Sambar Deer. but is is quite elusive.
was wise not to disturb the banded krait, which has a potentially fatal bite
I looked up the banded krait when we got home and learnt more about it and its bite. Pretty amazing. Have you been lucky enough to see the deer here?
@@WONDERLUSTworld someone killed a sambar deer along the expressway. Very sad to hear the news.
Oh no!! Was it an accident??

Should go to Singapore Discovery Centre located down at Jurong.
That's been on my list for a while now actually, what do you recommend to do there?
@WONDERLUSTworld if I remember correctly, during my Reservist days, you can try out the SAR21 / M16 there. 😁
Oh that sounds fun. We did some flight simulators before at Wings academy which was great.

The rubbish is caused by the neighbouring tide and most of the brands are not found in Singapore store
Just the way it goes I guess. They do have regular beach clean ups there which is great.
