Another great vid, thanks. I was in Singapore late November and managed to see 7 lifers in two days - GH Fish Eagle, Changeable Hawk Eagle, Straw-headed and green-winged bulbuls, Spotted Wood and Oriental Scops Owls & Stork-billed Kingfisher. Will be back for Buffy Fish Owl next time. Your posts have really helped me with where to go.
Wow, you had a fruitful trip in Nov. Very happy to know that my video helps. Thanks for updating me. At least I know it is worth the effort sharing my nature walk journal. Owls can be tricky to spot. I also believe in luck when it comes to wildlife. Hope luck is with you when you visit again. Cheers !!!
It can be tricky to spot the owls especially when they are not breeding! I was lucky to spot it on my 2nd trip. Hope you’ll have better luck next time! 😄
Wow wasnt aware there are so many beautiful birds here ...please show a little longer e.g. storks, egrets and eagles especially large birds and flocks.. Please understand common peoples like me and guess like 99.99% wasnt aware and never seen before (only saw it on discovery channel and Sir David Attenborough programs). Have seen storks but only 2 to 4 at west coast and White Bellie Sea Eagle soaring high up in the sky. Pointed to me by birders and bird watchers. Thanks in Advance
Thanks for the suggestion! I will try to include longer shots of the larger birds in my next video. 🙏 During the migratory season, shorebirds, including Common Redshanks and Whimbrels, travel to the reserve to escape the cold winter. Usually we see more migratory birds during begining of the season between Sep to Oct. Unfortunately, I was pretty busy this season and only managed to visit recently when the tidal ponds was rather quiet already. I have an old video on Whimbrels and some interesting fish jumping in the river sighting, the only one so far on my wildlife walk. th-cam.com/video/McqkHNb988g/w-d-xo.html. Not sure if you have watch this clip. I miss the time when there are so many happening when I can spend the whole day sitting inside the bird hide. Thanks for watching.
@@kimpriority you are most welcome. Main reason i decided to give some feedbacks as i notice there are not many local wild life youtuber in Singapore. Yours are one of the best i have seen and wishes that you get more subscribers and viewers. My feedback are based on a ignorant local who hardly look up at our sky and Sungei Buloh until 2 years ago chance upon a young Brahminy kite learning to fly at West Coast while the adult are circling overhead. Truly amazing and beautiful unforgettable moment. Wish that i could took few more pictures and videos at those incredible moments. Henceforth i been walking regularly hoping to catch those moment again but without any success😂😂
