I have a cinnamon roll recipe that's about 43 years old. Made by hand, and always a "keep fingers crossed" moment if they were kneeded enough. I made yours last night, and OMG!!!!! they were perfect! Light, fluffy pillows! Perfect recipe my girl. This is one very happy Nana. 😊
For people having problem with it being Too wet, you need to weight out your Milk it has to be 240 grams. Hope this helps. Thanks for Sharing. These Are the Bomb.

I LOVE that you measure with your finger on the side of the dough! I thought only my little grandma and my mom did that! Dont need a ruler like some cooking shows use!
These are PHENOMENAL! I made a half batch of them last night and they are so soft and squishy they really remind me of cinnabon. Next time I make them I am going to make a full batch and freeze them. I used active dry yeast and had to double the rise time suggested in the recipe. So I believe the recipe may be intended for instant yeast. Can't reccomend these enough.
@@CookingConClaudia I’ve noticed that the brown sugar in this recipe doesn’t dissolve. So I can still feel sugar granules when bitting into the cinnamon roll. Do you have a tip for this? Thank you!

OK, I made your cinnamon rolls and ended up needing about 1 additional cup of all-purpose flour before a dough could form. I started with 550g of sifted APF, the other ingredients plus 1 cup milk warmed to 110oF slowly added as my dough hook turned on low speed. At this point it was too wet and I began adding more flour in 1/4 cup increments. The dough (when removed from the mixer) was soft, not sticky, and handled beautifully. After rising, punched down, and placed on my large wood bread/baking board, it rolled out smoothly, rolled up like a dream, cut cleanly, and the finished rolls are the MOST tender imaginable. Perfect in every way. So… I question how your ingredients list (which I doubled checked on your web postings) could be off so much from my experience today? These are perfect rolls, and I am very happy that I watched your video! Thank you.
Thank you for this I know is going to help me so much. I think the ingredients amount changed depending where we live. Mountains, ocean etc at least I read that somewhere 😂
Made this last night, was delicious 😋 I will say I was worried when ingredients came together because it looked like soupy, but I'm an experienced baker, so I just kept an eye on it, at the end of 10 minutes, it came together beautifully!!! DON'T ADD EXTRA FLOUR, YOU'LL BE TEMPTED TO

10/23/23: I made this last night, and they came out wonderful, soft and delicious and easy to make. Now I'll experiment with other flavors, like lemon icing for the topping and some raisins and nuts for the inside filling. Thanks for another good recipe.

Claudia I love your video's, I have been a subscriber for some time now. I have tried many of your recipes, all so good. Today I am going to make bollio bread, with my new KitchenAid Pro 600 stand mixer that you inspired me to buy. I love this stand mixer, I got mine in fire engine red. I have been using it for a lot of recipes. I didn't know you were a comedian, laughed my butt off when you were slapping the bread. It is good to have fun while cooking. Keep them coming.
I never thought to use one of those brushes to butter my pans!!! Good idea. I have never made homemade cinnamon rolls but once I try I will come back to this video for sure. These look so good and easy. I can't tell if you just make it look easy, or it's easy!! Lol but this looks like something I could make for sure.

See, i hypothesize that if my butthole provides sufficient counter torque (N) exactly opposite the rate of curvature of the roll when eaten (Q/L), i would effectively shit out a long straight ribbon to tie up the xmas gifts!!

If you drank enough liquids. You need to make sure you aren't dehydrated or you will end up with rabbit pellets. Actually, I am not too educated on the subject so hopefully somebody else can chime in. I would say your best bet is to make sure you hold it for at least a day so it comes out in one long piece, now if it will curve is what I can't tell you. So, like I said, hopefully someone a little more educated chimes in here. Maybe check out a poop chart to get an idea of what causes what type. I hope I helped out a little. 😆😁

See I always knead my dough. I tried it in my KitchenAid stand mixer and I think it made my day a little bit tough. I may have mixed it too long possibly, but I always knead. Instead of regular milk I use evaporated milk for richness, I always make a huge batch of these and they don’t last long

You can freeze them before the second rise. When you’re ready to bake just pull them out, a day before to defrost in the fridge. Then let them rise somewhere warm…and bake as directed
Add to your filling 1/8 tsp of nutmeg it'll give it more of a holiday scent to it and instead of regular milk for the icing use half and half and i would also put heavy whipping cream to your rolls after 10 mins in the oven. Don't forget the pecans *You did add nutmeg how did i miss that step 😆
i’m still waiting for my dough to double the size 😂 made the dough at 4 pm and it’s 10:30 pm rn.. i don’t think i used the right yeast probably 😅 but im so excited !!!

You can double it or make the recipe twice.
