Antennas make a huge difference on these goggles. I’m still using the 9T helical antenna a yr later haha

@@nmrlab3807 sadly you’re correct. You’ll either have to use a patch antenna or make you’re own helical using videos on TH-cam

Hey friend, the reason why it’s breaking up so bad above you is because the signal is shaped like a doughnut. You are in the middle of that donut. 😉

I’m wondering if having a dipole on the vtx is why 2 Omni antennas perform so poorly

@Drone Pilot 260 RC Ah… that is exactly what is happening! Especially when flying overhead at the null point.

I’m going to move the vtx to one wing and the crsf to the opposite side to see if the 2 along with the gps was causing interference. I have the exact same vtx in my Diatone Ripper r690 and I can get further range with that aircraft 🎉
