    Clicking the torque wrench twice is a mistake. Once it clicks, it’s within 4% of the specified value, plus or minus. Clicking twice essentially guarantees that you’re over the specified value, and with more than the 4% tolerance.

      Your engine sounds much better than it did after the previous spark & coil swap though.

      If it hits 4% of the torque value, then why would unloading and re clicking make it over the specified value?

      @@prestofixit3518 because the first click indicates that the fastener has reached the correct torque value. With the second click, you are applying more force, most likely going slightly over the desired value. It’s not the end of the world, I’m sure it doesn’t go much over it, but still, by no means does it make the tightening better. It makes it worse if anything.
