      It’s not a fan but just some reaction between my phone and the daylight lamp. I didn’t realise it was happening but when I zoom in, it has happened before… I’m really sorry and can totally sympathise, but not being very techy I don’t know why it happens.

    I bought some gilding flakes from indigo blu, because I just can’t find my others…(craft room move).. I have Chariots of fire and copper kettle and they are lush……."so thanks Christine ❤…..for my 20% off as well🎉

    I am partial to the green butterfly. You mentioned Perfect Pearls. Would this work as well?

      I think a perfect a pearls would be great although i'm not sure that the colours that I have in them are quite as vibrant, but I would certainly have a go!

    Love love your tutorials! I don’t remember which video, but in one you lamented you couldn’t get Bearly Arts glue in the U.K. I did a little research, and Amazon U.K. does indeed carry it, but at a prohibitive cost at over 100£. Now, Amazon USA, of course, carries it at about $6, with a huge difference in cost. Why not have one of us send it to you from our side of the pond? It is considered among the best glues around.     Chris, what is the difference between shimmer powder, glamour dust and mica powder???

      Shimmer powder is a pigment powder mixed with some mica. Mica powder is the pearlescent or shimmery element. Glamour Dust is a fine twinkle glitter! Any help?

      @@Chrissieannie Ha! I've been accused of that over the years! Had a fabulous teacher in 6th grade (11/12 years old) who concentrated on teaching grammar a fun way for a whole year! Everything I know about grammar I learned in that one year... don't even know if kids are being taught that much any more.

      Relating! My pet annoyance in the craft world is the constant "stamp down" on the cardstock (or whatever. The word down is superfluous....just "stamp on the cardstock" is correct! If you're not stamping "down" are you stamping "up"? LOL! Silly, I know...but it does bug me.

    What can you use to burnish if you don’t have your tool.

      I think lots of things would work, people have said that Scrub it, rub it work as well as dish sponges...even a piece of scrunched up paper towel would probably do the trick

      I was taught years ago to use a stencil brush...they have bristles and do the job nicely.

      I used the little brush you see in my videos (before I heard about a scoochie), which I love for tamping down the flakes.

    The linen texture of your cardstock is a subtle but lovely addition. I'm waiting for my gilding flakes to arrive...very exciting.

    Thanks for showing these variations of this technique. I enjoy using Chrystal Glaze or Glossy Accents to mimic stained glass. It's a simple addition for such stunning results. Now if I could just be patient enough to let it dry properly. You make my Mondays when I see you've a new video up.

      The Butterfly on the first card shown is a stamp from Indigo Blu. The die-cut butterfly is from Poppy stamps!
