- In 1988, I bought the vinyl album and played it to death. Switching my Pioneer system to 'BASS ENHANCE' in selected parts. I have replicated the full album [REMASTER BY SOUNDMAN DEOLUMEN], as I enjoyed and was inspired by Alan's music. [Bought from and available on Amazon and all platforms.].

SWEET ! Thanks so much fir sharing it 🤘😎!
What did you remaster on this album? I never heard the original, but this sounds fantastic. By the way, are also responsible for the visuals on this? because they are also very good.
@@lux_moto Long story, all I can say at the mo is to have a listen to all the other Y-Tube attempts of Alan's music and compare the quality. I am 'locked' in my little studio creating my new music and writing for as long as I take. It is rare for me to have time to reply, thanks for your words.
In my eyes the best Recoil- Album
In my eyes the best Recoil- Album
I discovered DM in 1990. “I came” to the music: I found it as deep and voluminous as my favorite organ and as “metallic and technical” as rock.
I haven't been listening to Ricoil for a relatively long time. The wizard Alan hid many secrets in this music.🤫
There helps my relax, penetrate the lonely plaeses of my soul, the souls of my patients and find missing peaces.💚
Ačiū, maestai Alanai 😘
Music can be cathartic, as individuals we all resonate to a personal understanding. Most creative intent of any musician is to express feelings that might be understood in a positive, healing manner. Subjective as to the listeners perspective...
Oh yes, that's right. Music and sounds have a very important influence on us. They can create and destroy. Both processes are normal and, alas, life is not possible without them.
We vibrate at a certain frequency. It depends on many factors. These frequencies have their own music.

Alan Zimmer, or Hans Wilder, whichever you prefer. Jokes aside, if you care to dig deeper, this is much more of a Philip Glass material actually. Oh Alan...
well said... maybe Alan was too much of a serious musician for them, specially on those years of drugs and alcohol for Martin and Dave. Three friends who never really accepted him, but did profit from his great work. This music is the logical evolution of Alan's talent.
Weird story. I bought an album 'Hydrology 1+2' somewhere in the mid 2000's. I loved it very much although I couldn't understand that according to the album it hold three pieces (Grain, Stone and The Sermon) but listen to it I heard about 8 pieces. 15 years later I found out that the CD inside was a version of Liquid. Not exactly the liquid version of the album liquid, but close enough. What could have happened there? Anyway it brought Recoil into my life and that is all that matters. Subhuman is also a great album. Allan Wilder is a great musical talent, among the best.
🥰👍❤❤❤👍🥰
Fantastic
Depeche Mode had their best years while Alan Wilder was a magician within the band. That being said, Songs of Faith and Devotion is the best DM album hands down.
And, of course, Black celebration.
DM are not nearly as good without Alan
All things have to change, just enjoy the magic that stands the test of time.. creations that will be played long after 'we' have 'moved on'.. Not for a long time yet I hope, cheers
@@JDeolumen So true my friend ... always good to be reminded of this truth,so,thank you for replying .Not to mention i DO think Delta Machine is right up there with their past albums w alan.🤘😁
@@JDeolumen So far though i’ve been really TRYING to get into the newest album, the one with the single “Ghosts” which is a song i DO really like.. just something is REALLY missing as far as the other tracks go (although i THOUGHT the same thing with delta machine first few listens). So,any thoughts on the newest album ?
i’ve just been dying to find out what others think about it so far.
Massive🔥
11:00 It's grooving.

Oh Alan~♡
226...Im Live ..this music is genial!
Wanna hear his albums in 5.1!
I do use a 5.1 system for the DVD's of Kraftwerk/ JMJarre/Peter Gabriel/ Human league, etc.. Do you mean 'surround sound enhanced for headphones'?.. Yep send me a link...
I really wish people wouldn't keep harping on about AW going back to Depeche Mode. It is nearly 30 years ago, it's not going to happen, and I personally think his work with Recoil is far superior to anything his former band ever produced. If only they had realized at the time what a treasure they lost - the fools!! It is the fairy tale, rags to riches real life story that went wrong because of Alan's band-mates' excesses. They don't deserve him frankly.
And I would like, after “Memento mori” like “Memoirs,”at least 2-3 songs from sheets of the bottom drawer of the table and old music books with the old favorite sound of DM and, of course, the God of sounds himself on the keyboard.🎹🎶🎼
Oh yes, Martin can't calm down the Albert Hall.🔊 The screaming fades as Alan begins to play and intensifies as he finishes.👏👏👏❤
I remember summer 1988 - i was 18, when i first time heard this album on mg casette tape. I was fascinated and i am still fascinated :)
Very unique and everlasting
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Un Genio!! Alan Wilder 🎉🎉
Philip Glass?
Inspiring work .. as each artist becomes themselves.. Alan's musical talent encompassed his untouchable sound creation and production.. amazing.. Cheers...
Alan openly confessed to being influenced and inspired by the likes of Steve Reich and Philip Glass - you can hear the genesis for Hydrology's opening track (and its preceding EP 1+2) in some of his Depeche Mode arrangements - most notably 'It Doesn't Matter Two' from the 'Black Celebration' album - very Glass-like there too. See also the similar staccato choral synth patches used in 'Behind The Wheel' from 'Music For The Masses' too.
Saludos... [ Hello, "Misunderstood by many Depeche Mode fans".. Not at all, as he has so much respect from Dave and Martin [knowing that they would not 'exist' musically without him..].. Cheers..
EXCELLENT!!! FANTASTIC!!! ALAN WILDER FOREVER!!! 💯💯💯💯💯🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I feel like Im listening to Music for the masses for the first time in the 6 the grade
Hi Jason, one of the most impressive albums ever made.. A brilliant work that will stay with me, cheers for now..
Beautiful!!!
❤
How amazing would it be to have Alan compose the Metal Gear Solid movie score? A guy can dream...
A girl can dream, too... I'd die happy and fulfilled if that were to happen.
😊
...after all these years his compositions are striking again and again! THIS is what makes Depeche Mode really special, unique, adorable and relentless & resistlesss alike. It is a synthiepop band - a cold war child. Here are it's origins.
Danke Boris, you have just said some of the best words ever. [If I had more time to show the video of Dave G praising Alan..].. I'm just working on something that my German friends create [DopplZZettah and 42EXAbyte].. Cycle safely and all the best for the festive season..🚲
Yea, you listen to this and think wait a minute...this is about 60-70% of what I like about DM. The combo of him and Gore was amazing. It's too bad that I think Gore is a bit of a drama queeb and isn't very easy to get along with.
@@JDeolumenhas that time come? )))
@@EtsiJuuret time is not linear, not to me..
DM are not nearly as good without him
I always loved "Hydrology" for the cinematic feel it evokes. I think Alan should compose a film soundtrack. In an interview a few years ago he said that he would really like to do that but that he never received a suitable offer.
All of Alan's work is amazing.. Thanks for your comment, all the best..
The Good Old Time and I Love it so much ;)
masterpiece...
Thank you for the reply.. Alan is a master of creating sounds, mixing, mastering and production.. Amazing in so many ways.. I learned a lot by listening to Alan [long story in Manchester].. Cheers
@@JDeolumen Hi! What do you mean by “long story in manchester”?
