That GSR is a gem! Looks like a great project. Got to love it when the owner includes original OEM parts such as the header, B pipe and muffler. All of those are super challenging to find in good condition.

I can’t wait to see the updates on this series. I have a 96 factory gsr sedan in the same color combination, cypress green pearl and the old man tan leather interior. Cypress green pearl is one of those colors that looks amazing in direct sunlight. And the fact that it has the factory sunflower wheels is awesome too. It took my 18 months to find a set for my car (I foolishly sold mine not long after I bought the car). From what I can tell, it’s a 2 year only wheel. GSR and special editions in 96 and 97. That mileage though, that’s an amazing find! I’m pushing 235k on mine, I’ve had it for 14 or 15 years now. Bought in 2003, sold in 2009, bought back again in 2014. In the second and fifth owner lol

Those 96 GSR wheels are the lightest of the 15” Integra wheels.

Extremely nice and clean GSR. I look forward to more content on it. I own a 1994 GSR which I bought new in 94. It is Milano red with black cloth interior. My GSR has almost 90,000 kilometers on the odometer which is less than 56,000 miles. I have kept it stock except for a Yonaka catback exhaust which I detest due to constant droning. I am curious to know if you will be attempting to put a stock exhaust system on yours. If not, I'd like to know what you have planned for exhaust as I would certainly follow your lead and put the same on my car. Keep up the great content.

@@ahcgarage I am curious to see where and how you are getting a factory exhaust. I tried to do that in 2019 and could not find one anywhere in Canada. Are they still available from Acura dealerships in the States?
I've a 1320 exhaust setup, in my 96 LS, I love how rich it sounds. It's super quiet until it's time to be a little more vocal 😀

Sweet access to the race! And that Integra takes me back. Knew a girl who bought one exactly like that one. Same color and same interior just no spoiler. Bought it brand new. Used to cruise around in it for a bit. Can’t wait to see more!
The cool access for the race was definitely a treat, we are super grateful. Hard to explain the joy from driving these older vehicles, brings back so much memories.

Good find AHC! I used to have the DC sports 4-1 header and the matching SS cat back exhaust on my 00 Si. It sounded awesome. I ended up selling it to get the EP3. What a dummy. Someone punch me in the face.

I have a '95 DC2 and purchased the DC Sports exhaust a few years ago. To my surprise, it was way too loud! I'm old school, I had a '97 GSR when it came out new, the DC Sports exhaust back then wasn't as raspy or as loud as their current offering. I ended up going with the Tanabe instead.
Agreed. The new DC sport exhaust and header are definitely different from their original generation.
Man that’s a clean 96 gsr with only 60k. Just as clean as my 98 sonic gsr but mine 235k original motor tranny and mounts. Ready to see finished product 👍🏾🔥😁

SSBP is more rare than Type-R. Hopefully we will some day

I see the ABS light is on. It would make a neat video to repair that. It's a common issue and most people just remove the whole system.
Yes, the seller has deleted the ABS system and that’s the reason the warning light is on.
I deleted the ABS in my ‘94 GSR and then also took out the ABS cluster light bulb.

Doing some restoration on my 94, can’t wait for this series! Just got new OEM door sill and roof rail trims this week. I see the ABS has been removed. Are you planning on putting it back on? I keep having an intermittent code 1-8 on mine. Changed my ABS unit but still doing it. Going to try changing the ABS unit again.
The ABS modulator probably will be be back on the vehicle. The ABS delete was done right and due to their ages, those modulators are just a ticking time bomb before they leak or have an internal failure
@@ahcgarage any idea if any companies can rebuild these things? Or even converted to the newer 98+ style of ABS?
We have yet to find anyone that able to rebuild them. We have just recently did an upgrade ABS kit for the first generation NSX, video will be coming out soon. Both Mita and SOS make kits for the NSX, very similar in designs in terms of utilizing all Oem brake pipes and along with newer all-in-one ABS modulator. The only thing aftermarket is the harness which is 100% plug and play. ABS system also operates 100% as designs. Very cool kit yet pricey with a price tag around $2k. Not sure there’s enough demand for them to create a kit for Integra due to the price tag and cost of the Oem parts.
Are those roof rail trims discontinued or did you get aftermarket ones?
