Lakshya actually playing with a game plan now and not endlessly attacking like he used to during the whole 2023. Today he got very creative with his flat pushes, taking them early and his error count was also very low. If he plays like this we can see him on the podium at Olympics.
His stint with former coach Anup Sridhar didn’t work well for him. He was going for all out attack under Anup. Now he is directly training under Vimal, displaying an all round game with solid defence. He used to have even better defence before.
Sen is crazy fast 🤯🤯
Lakshya Sen and Kunlavut Vitidsarn were the craziest 20 year-olds I've ever seen in Mens single. Now they seem to be rapidly becoming the best in the world.
what about Antony Sinuka Ginting and Jonathan Cristie, already ranked in the top 10 when they were under 20?
@@SHI-16 Ginting had 3 games against 20/21 yo Lakshya Sen, lost all.
I doubt we'll ever see a youngster have a run like Ginting's 2018 China open again though. He was 22.
Also fact check, Ginting first broke into top 20 after Korea open 2017. He was 20 years and 11 months old. Jonathan Christie achieved rank 19 for a few weeks in 2016 when he was 18 years and some months old.
Such an entertaining match. So proud of Lakshya he improved so much.

Imo LZJ has actually played better in the England and French than his previous 3-5 tourneys. He gotten more aggressive and he’s having more successful. But I think he got a bit too overconfident and tried to be too cute at times and ending up outplaying himself.
Cell phones, torches or any other light emitting device should be thoroughly checked before allowing any audience into the stadium . This was the worst in case of Tunjung.
