Something weird with that Li-Ning net, 90% of shots into the tape went over. I suspect either the tape (wide white part) is too flimsy or the rope across is overly elastic. I have LN gear and they work well but clearly that net does not behave as Yonex nets/systems. In terms of the game, Shetty's defense and Seo's game are not as sharp as at their peak, but the Koreans still managed to hold the lead in the end. Credit to Jin for not crumbling mentally, but it was clear that his attack is much weaker than Seo, as the Indians were not threatend with Jin in the back. This is not much different than when back in the day LYD was attacking but he generally managed to rotate while making very few errors. In any case, I hope to see Kang back in action as he, IMO, is the most talented / natural front player on team Korea. He just needs to learn (from Setiawan) to back off and trust his partner more as he makes too many errors in his eagerness to intercept. Bravo Seo/Jin and good to see RankiShetty return to ascending form after the Olympic disappointment.

If they instead varied their shots and speed more and make indian pair move out of position more i think it would have been easier to wear them down. Good game!
