That 386 game is definitely legit. That Shiny Zigzagoon came from an event to fix the berry glitch. The Makuhita/Hariyama was probably cloned, but that's just a glitch in Emerald (no hacks required). And last of all, Jirachi is easy to get if you have the means to.
yes agreed, the only thing that kept me a bit sus was the lvl 40 beasts bcs u catch them at 50 in fire red/ leaf green .... maybe it was from colosseum or something... and yes he cloned makhuita and evolved one of the 2

Buy Japanese, you can get Sapphire for under $10 haha. I think I got my English copy of Sapphire for like $60, just make sure to look around for local deals and make sure it's legit!

Fun fact, the shiny Pichu was an event pokemon given away on diamond, platinum and pearl. From there you could trade it to HeartGold or SoulSilver, take it to the shrine in Ilex forest (as your party leader) and a spiky eared Pichu would appear and join your team.

I was going to say this! Likely RNG manip, because it's not a guaranteed shiny. Could be that they sat there for hours soft resetting though. Also, if they levelled it up past 30 and then used Pal Park it would show whatever level it was when you transferred it, not the original met level.
Those HGSS Event Pokemon were really nostalgic becuase I have the Shiny Dogs and the Shiny Eevee from the 2010 Atlanta Regionals! Really great to see them in their original games.

When I was younger I thought I could surprise trade a pokemon from one game to another game, and I wanted my deoxys on another game, so I surprise traded my deoxys and somebody was probably really happy to get a deoxys for there zigzagoon, they probably thought it was hacked lol
There is a DNS server maintained by fans that resurrected a bunch of old events that you can do even today, including the pikachu coloured Pichu, the spiky eared Pichu and the legendary beasts. The shiny eevee is also and I believe WCS is World Championships. Yes, those all likely came from that server.
I've used that server, and it would show the real-life date that you used the fan server as the "Met date" so I doubt that's what happened. It'd be like, 2021 or something
I still stand with my original theory of the "hacked" save - think its a mixed bag of shiny hunter, trading and hacks. The multiple mythicals could be from the gifted events?? Im not too familiar with them though~ Still fun to see!
Definitely reminds me of my copy of Diamond as a kid, where I started off just cheating in legendaries with a game shark then eventually caught the shiny hunting bug

Honestly if the mew was caught from the faraway island event from shiny hunting (which is insane if it was) and then sent up via pal park it’s feasible since I think it shows the level it was received from pal park not it’s original level (which would be 30) so that shiny mew could have been legit.
You can actually get a shiny mew in emerald! Maybe it was transferred from emerald. The event mew is level 30 so it isn’t out of the question for it to have been leveled up by 4 levels and then transferred :)
Also I am aware that it said it was caught at level 34 but you have to re catch transferred Pokémon in hgss and I’m unaware if that affects the caught level in game.
I am 100% confident that the save at 11:00 is legit, the Berry Fix Zigzagoon is nice to see, and I assume they'd have Ageto Celebi, and the Beasts/Ho-Oh and Lugia from the Orre games

26:40 that tropius was migrated from hoenn and when you migrat a pokemon the level will be equal to the level when you migrat it so he basically trauned tropius up to 100 than transfered it
I really hope whoever got my save file for pokémon y checked it out and saved them before resetting the file. Someone broke into my house and stole my 3ds and pokémon y and i never saw it again. Multiple boxes of shinies etc.

Japanese files are a gold mine for how cheap they are compared to the US. I bought copies of Sapphire, Platinum, and all the gen 5 games and got a lot of legit rare Pokemon from in real life distribution events and mystery gifts.
That shiny Zigzagoon with Pokerus wasn’t hacked that’s a Pokémon that gets injected into the save when you had your 1.0 cart upgraded to 1.1 to fix the berry glitch.
I still am flabbergasted some used game shops sell old school pokemon diamond for 80 plus dollars if not hundreds..... Ans thats without thr box or papers
26:40 Why do people say the met level of the Tropis is sus lol. The met level gets set to current level when you transfer Pokémon from gen 3. Unless the game of origin is gen 4, at worst this was leveled up using rare candies obtained through the Emerald cloning glitch.
In HeartGold and SoulSilver you could only have three event cards from your mystery gift before you had to delete one to receive a new gift. It wasn't increased until black and white.
Pokemon is a great game to learn languages with because of how simple it is and how most people have likely played through at least one game enough to know the general dialogue. Its also fairly easy to figure out from context. The newer games even let you choose between kanji+hiragana or just hiragana.

I use a GB Operator for the GB/GBA stuff and I just transfer the saves from the cartridges from DS/3DS games onto my PC using a "spicy" 3DS . The controller is an 8BitDo Ultimate Controller

I got a legit ruby game with all shiny pokemon. Even legendaries and event legendary pokemon you can miss. Safe to say im glad i have it because im working on filling out all Pokedex entries in all gameboy advance Pokemon games.

I saw that price tag and went back and forth before finally buying it. I was hoping for shines.. but the guy who had it before didn't get in that far. But i deleted the save data and did my own run, debating on if i should play it as a nuzlocke or not. After My cynaquil fainted i was like "good thing I'm not playing a nuzlocke." Edit: that machop line save reminded me of my first platinum save. I basically bred all the Eeveelutions and then only have them on my team. This one kid was watching me play from the seat behind me and asked 'you really like Eevee don't you?' I said "yeah, they are so cute, isn't it cool?" The kid replied 'no, thats just dumb' and sat back down. I never used a full Eeveelution team until the crown tundra dlc.
reminded me of when i went on a buying spree on mercari and decided to pick up a japanese copy of soulsilver it had a bunch of events lying around and also a jirachi left in the pokewalker instead of deleting the save file i decided to use it for shiny hunting and also doing the trainer card challenge on their save file too

Id say the charizard holding a master ball is indeed a little sus, given the old school hacked pokemon being used to dupe hundreds of masterballs in that era of pokemon, i remember my friend showed me a website back then where i could create and trade pokemon to myself, the golden days of havinf some postgame fun with pokemon that literally cannot exist by like giving them moves and abilities they cant normally have, i never even thought to use it for making them hold masterballs so i could get infinite of them. I did however hack in a shiny gengar with absurd stats that could OKO everything in the game. The joys of being young and learning that cheats are a thing in video games
The more reasonable ones, I believe. The japanese are always on top of their stuff. They understand pouring time into something and really taking in the entire pay off of their time investment.

There's a lot of ways. For the GB/GBA stuff I have a GB Operator. Most times it's probably just easiest to emulate though. There are DS/3DS capture cards, but they are super expensive and not really worth it for most folks.
Both are custom written widgets that I use in my StreamElements overlay. A buddy of mine wrote those for me so unfortunately I don't have a lot of details about how they work haha. They just make API calls to a weather service and a time server and show them on-screen, nothing too crazy.

Trainer ID numbers are recycled, its the ID + the OT name for truly unique players.

You can only collect 3 Wonder Cards. If you get a 4th you have to delete one. So those three that had them doesn’t mean the others aren’t legit

I've backed up all of the saves and I'm keeping them intact and backed up. I think it's really cool having a little time capsule like that.

Faraway Island Mew in Emerald is level 30 when encountered and can be shiny hunted, could be legitimate.

The more reasonable ones, I believe. The japanese are always on top of their stuff. They understand pouring time into something and really taking in the entire pay off of their time investment.

I looked up the events in Japan for the DS games, Mew is the only one that isn't an event
Man, there's an shop that sells Platinum (PAL version) over 90 bucks.
I mean, it's a good deal, it's not fake or anything.
Events are much more common in japan so I wouldnt be surprised if most of the event pokemon are legit.
Would be cool to have the Japanese mew from the event on the gameboy version of red or green

There's a lot of ways. For the GB/GBA stuff I have a GB Operator. Most times it's probably just easiest to emulate though. There are DS/3DS capture cards, but they are super expensive and not really worth it for most folks.
How are you doing the stuff in the top left of your stream layout?
The sub counter/time and stuff? It's pretty much all through StreamElements in my overlay

Both are custom written widgets that I use in my StreamElements overlay. A buddy of mine wrote those for me so unfortunately I don't have a lot of details about how they work haha. They just make API calls to a weather service and a time server and show them on-screen, nothing too crazy.

Hoping someone out there found my Diamond/Soul Silver/ Platinum from like 2008 and saved all my guys. Had alot of TRU events and stuff from the NY Pokemon Center store... traded them in the 2010s to a Gamestop in Brooklyn when i left pokemon during Gen 5 but came back to the franchise at Gen 6 ORAS
