I have suggestion of hardest bosses for the series 2: Area 6 boss from bomberman gb 2 and the nightcrawler commander and the egg spider (ice mountain) from sonic advance
Sociopathic Loser In his defense he was playing on an hd tv, even for people who meorized that game, its nearly impossible to play tyson and win while using an hd tv. An nes video outputs in analogue format, modern tvs use digital tv signal. Meaning the tv in real time has to convert the video signal to digital. With a game requiring split second timing, that conversion period leads to you taking hits, while not even realizing it. Youl be playing then your dude flashes (you got hit but because the video lagged it never showed it on the tv because the tv is trying to convert the signal while showing you the picture in real time)
Actually In Mike Tysons punch out, every single opponent including Tyson had a "giveaway" animation that proceeded their dangerous moves. Tyson winks at you. Simply dodge left or right depending on which eye winks, throw two jabs. Repeat the sequence a couple of times and you can super punch him. A couple of those and he's k.o. I've never once failed to k.o. Tyson, and not even the lesser impressive t.k.o.

As far as Bloodborne is concerned, I’d say without a doubt that either Orphan of Kos or Ludwig is harder than Gehrman, just an opinion though. Good video!

27:10 Lavos is only tortuously long if you actually fight his first phase. Going far enough into the story opens up the option to utilise the Epoch to ram Lavos, skipping the first phase at the cost of destroying the Epoch (only affects some of the ending scenes, since killing Lavos ends the game either way). Also you forgot the Dream Devourer fight, which is effectively a more powerful superboss Lavos.
What about Absolute Radiance? (Specifically when you fight her at the end of Pantheon of Hallownest) dOUBLE PHANTOM KINGS IN SEARCH FOR GREELY ON HARD MODE IN ANIMAL JAM? SHRIEK FROM ORI AND THE WILL OF THE WISPS ON HARD MODE- THAT BAT IN CASTLE CRASHERS ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY WHATEVER IT WAS?? (My dad’s friend is pretty good at the game but struggled on that boss. Thats what caused me to want castle crashers.) SUPREME CALAMITAS?!?

I agree about the Al Gore battle but I found it a lot easier the earlier you choose to fight him, don't wait. I also found it easiest to fight him with Cartman's abilities.
Secret bosses in the kirby true arena were crazy. Some of those would be in my top 10. Then again the true arena is the more difficult part of the challenge rather than the secret boss itself... Still I would definitely put it as an honorable mention since its probably one of the hardest things in any game ive played.
Senator Armstrong.... Oh god that guy was a pain in the ass to beat first time I played but one of the the best boss fights you can face in any video game and his Iconic Quote "nanomachines son" gets me everytime. EDiT: also damn never thought I'll see 2008 turok in any type of video ever again tops to you Tats for letting me remember the fun times I had fighting that piece of shit water beast in that game
I've only broken one controller in my life and that was because of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 9. Also Hans Volter in Killing Floor 2 was made much easier a while back. Most bosses in the game are easy now.

I remember back when Peanut made a top 10 list of the hardest bosses ever. He listed Tabuu on Insane at #3 and said it was because every hit can 2 - 3 hit kill and the shock wave will insta kill 5 of the 6 characters you use. Slightly unrelated to your comment but I don't know how the hell so many ppl seem unaware of side dodging the shockwave.

Tats along with Ahoy both aspire to have quality over quantity. They really go beyond to research the stuff/write their scripts. I remember subbing to you both a while ago and always get excited whenever you both upload.
@Alex Yordanov i beat sans in 10 tries but after reaching flandre somewhere near 20 times, i can't even make it halfway through. the experience is just different for everybody ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I really hope you are joking because if you're not let me be honest, you're an idiot. There's a lot more harder bosses than Sans. Sans you just have to Memorise his attacks and once you do that it's easy.
As mentioned above, Xbox One has a thing called "Rare Replay" where you can play quite a few of their notable works like "Banjo Tooie". Otherwise you would need a rom or new N64 to play Banjo Tooie. It's worth the effort however. Banjo Tooie is amazing in every regard and if you get the chance listen to its OST for a taste.
Oryx, The Taken King, is the most mechanical boss in Destiny: The Taken King. Normally can be a 4 phase fight, with orbs called “Corrupted Light”, the 390 light challenge mode requires 16 of these for instant 1 phase and final stand. Also there is a realm where you fight a smaller, shadow version of him where you don’t regenerate health, with a debuff called Darkness Dimension. He also has a wipe mechanic called Doxology, if you don’t stun him.
Looking forward to the second part of this! Personally hoping to see The Snatcher be a part of that. He was a pretty brutal Difficulty Spike compared to the rest of the bosses not named Mustache Girl and even then he gets even nastier in his DLC refights. I read somewhere that Nightmare King Grimm will be in the second part but I'd like to mention The Radiance as well. Never mind you just fought The Hollow Knight (who was admittedly easy) but now you have to fight an entirely new boss with aggressive patterns and dangerous far-reaching attacks just to see the best ending. That's without mentioning her Absolute Radiance form, who is the VERY last boss in the final Pantheon, even more dangerous, and if you die to her you'll have to restart the whole Pantheon Of Hallownest all over again, including Nightmare King Grimm and the Pure Vessel (who's a MUCH more lethal version of The Hollow Knight).
This video was easily worth the wait, and honestly it's understandable why it'd take so long to make in general (not counting the delays which lengthened that.) I've been a fan of this channel since Top 40 Games & Ideas That Changed During Development, and I'm just glad to see another well made video. Throughout the years I've been gaming, I've often found that the levels leading up to the boss tend to be harder for some reason. Though, to be fair, nothing seems as impossible anymore ever since I beat Dead Space 2 on Hardcore and getting the gold time trial relic on N. Sane Trilogy's Stormy Ascent. Those two experiences are seriously the most GRUELING challenges I've ever overcome. But if I had to give my personal opinion on the toughest boss I've beaten, that'd be a toss up between Amygdala or Watchdog of the Old Lords in Bloodborne's Defiled Chalice Dungeons. They're not my favorite, but they were the only bosses that made me want to quit trying because that health stipulation was absolutely insane and made sure you would more than likely get one shot by either of those two's battle.
@@oliodipalmaa depends, the ender dragon can be a pretty hard boss depending on what difficulty your on, it can destroy your blocks and make you fall from an incredibly high height and kill you, and it most likely will despawn your hardwork
Ok, so for everyone who thinks we are using political things in our videos, remember 1. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance came out in 2013 and Senator Armstrong used the term "Make America Great Again," while President Trump was not elected until 2016. 2. South Park the Stick of Truth is satire. Do not believe everything in the game. We are not using politics as a crutch to make others angry, we just think these bosses are tough.
Similarly I was thinking Action game characters. In something like Devil May Cry your first fight will always be a nerfed version of a boss or enemy because facing everything in their fullest is to much. Vergil and Dante in particular don't use all of their moves till Very Hard or DMD, depending on which game you play.
Yeah all the fighting bosses are justified as I have faced all of them and are no jokes. To this day I still cannot beat Shin Akuma in Tekken 7 ON NORMAL DIFFICULTY (which is 3 stars) Yet there is a 5 star difficulty and a hidden difficulty of 10 stars Oh did I mention he heals too during the fight
..or have very short recovery times and lotsa counters (*cough* Geese Howard *cough*). That said, ONSLAUGHT is on this list!?! His first phase can be cheesed by crouching in the corner and stun-locking him with low kicks.
This list was completely spot on. A few of these bosses I have fought and was raging like crazy. I have one that wasn't on the list. Most people don't care to much about Skylanders, but Traptonium Kaos on nightmare mode was nearly impossible. I have yet to find one video that shows someone beating him on that difficulty.

regarding the voracidous fight from borderlands 2, the reward you mentioned in the video was eridium bars when really the only reason to kill him is for the seraph weapon he drops called the interfacer which is undoubtedly one of the best weapons in the game. otherwise spot on! i wasnt expecting as thorough of a reveiw of the boss but you included the trespasser strategy.

No Shit, Ludwig lady Maria and most of the Chalice dungeon bosses are also much more difficult than gehrman I don't think they know what they're talking about when it comes to the Soul's-Borne Series.

Got me everytime and was the soul reason I had to go Blood level 120 instead of sticking with a BL 90 character build. Other wise I would have never killed him with the stats my character had. Very scary disgusting boss.
Christian Jourdain no no no, the goddam Cursed Chalice Dungeon Amygdala is the hardest of all time in that game, it took me literal months to beat that asshole to just let gherman take this spot, even kos is way harder than gherman
I havent played DLC to be honest, but from many people I heard who played DLC says Lady Maria is 1 of the toughest bosses in BB. Gehrman? Hardly heard from people saying he is tough....

Amygdala shows up twice, it's normal form in the nightmare frontier and the much tougher defiled version in the defiled chalice dungeon and the new areas brought by the DLC were the hunter's nightmare, the research hall/Astral clocktower, and the fishing hamlet

Then again the true arena is the more difficult part of the challenge rather than the secret boss itself...

Senator Armstrong.... Oh god that guy was a pain in the ass to beat first time I played but one of the the best boss fights you can face in any video game and his Iconic Quote "nanomachines son" gets me everytime.

I remember back when Peanut made a top 10 list of the hardest bosses ever. He listed Tabuu on Insane at #3 and said it was because every hit can 2 - 3 hit kill and the shock wave will insta kill 5 of the 6 characters you use.

As mentioned above, Xbox One has a thing called "Rare Replay" where you can play quite a few of their notable works like "Banjo Tooie". Otherwise you would need a rom or new N64 to play Banjo Tooie. It's worth the effort however. Banjo Tooie is amazing in every regard and if you get the chance listen to its OST for a taste.

Oryx, The Taken King, is the most mechanical boss in Destiny: The Taken King. Normally can be a 4 phase fight, with orbs called “Corrupted Light”, the 390 light challenge mode requires 16 of these for instant 1 phase and final stand. Also there is a realm where you fight a smaller, shadow version of him where you don’t regenerate health, with a debuff called Darkness Dimension. He also has a wipe mechanic called Doxology, if you don’t stun him.

Looking forward to the second part of this! Personally hoping to see The Snatcher be a part of that. He was a pretty brutal Difficulty Spike compared to the rest of the bosses not named Mustache Girl and even then he gets even nastier in his DLC refights. I read somewhere that Nightmare King Grimm will be in the second part but I'd like to mention The Radiance as well. Never mind you just fought The Hollow Knight (who was admittedly easy) but now you have to fight an entirely new boss with aggressive patterns and dangerous far-reaching attacks just to see the best ending. That's without mentioning her Absolute Radiance form, who is the VERY last boss in the final Pantheon, even more dangerous, and if you die to her you'll have to restart the whole Pantheon Of Hallownest all over again, including Nightmare King Grimm and the Pure Vessel (who's a MUCH more lethal version of The Hollow Knight).

This video was easily worth the wait, and honestly it's understandable why it'd take so long to make in general (not counting the delays which lengthened that.) I've been a fan of this channel since Top 40 Games & Ideas That Changed During Development, and I'm just glad to see another well made video.
Throughout the years I've been gaming, I've often found that the levels leading up to the boss tend to be harder for some reason. Though, to be fair, nothing seems as impossible anymore ever since I beat Dead Space 2 on Hardcore and getting the gold time trial relic on N. Sane Trilogy's Stormy Ascent. Those two experiences are seriously the most GRUELING challenges I've ever overcome. But if I had to give my personal opinion on the toughest boss I've beaten, that'd be a toss up between Amygdala or Watchdog of the Old Lords in Bloodborne's Defiled Chalice Dungeons. They're not my favorite, but they were the only bosses that made me want to quit trying because that health stipulation was absolutely insane and made sure you would more than likely get one shot by either of those two's battle.

@@oliodipalmaa depends, the ender dragon can be a pretty hard boss depending on what difficulty your on, it can destroy your blocks and make you fall from an incredibly high height and kill you, and it most likely will despawn your hardwork

Similarly I was thinking Action game characters. In something like Devil May Cry your first fight will always be a nerfed version of a boss or enemy because facing everything in their fullest is to much. Vergil and Dante in particular don't use all of their moves till Very Hard or DMD, depending on which game you play.
Yeah all the fighting bosses are justified as I have faced all of them and are no jokes.
To this day I still cannot beat Shin Akuma in Tekken 7 ON NORMAL DIFFICULTY (which is 3 stars)
Yet there is a 5 star difficulty and a hidden difficulty of 10 stars

This list was completely spot on. A few of these bosses I have fought and was raging like crazy. I have one that wasn't on the list. Most people don't care to much about Skylanders, but Traptonium Kaos on nightmare mode was nearly impossible. I have yet to find one video that shows someone beating him on that difficulty.
Well you may be suprised I beat em 1rst try but it did take me around 30 min to do so
(Traptonium kaos) is actually easy if you have enough (skylanders) git gud and yes (nightmare difficulty) wasn't a problem either

Orphan of kos was definetly the toughest boss in the game. Others, like ludwig and defiled amygdala are also tougher than gehrman

Amygdala shows up twice, it's normal form in the nightmare frontier and the much tougher defiled version in the defiled chalice dungeon and the new areas brought by the DLC were the hunter's nightmare, the research hall/Astral clocktower, and the fishing hamlet
