I remember when Ferguson took over the Late Late Show, I would actually make the effort to stay up to watch. Even at the time, you could tell he was the under the radar best late night host. It wasn't just his standup sections that were amazing at the beginning of each show, he was a hilarious interviewer. He could get a kind of mild guest with a topic that would have been a time filler on any other show and turn that little bit into something really enjoyable with the way he could find and coax out humor in anyone.
I wish he was still part of the late night shows. What he was able to pull off with what little he had to work with was incredible. I'm curious how much more he could have done if he had a bigger budget.
@Mike Urashevich I have to ask...I've only heard that line before from my dad retelling it from his past, as part of this...."Starkle starkle little twink, who the heck I are you think....." etc ...is that where you heard that also?! (I've just never heard anyone else say it!)
Oh, I wish you had stayed, Craig. You were the perfect follow up to Dave. When he retired, I think you would've been the correct person to fill those shoes. You are missed! PS. Not crazy about Stephen Colbert.
It is a way of being vocally engaged in real conversation (not mic recorded) to keep the sound energy and flow going. But you're right, it does not work at all in this context.
Craig had always special fan base. I am lucky to be one of them. And what i have noticed we dont much like the rest of late night show anchors. I felt really bad when watching his last episode. Anyways, great man, great unique sense of humor.
Craig, you always looked so nice on the show, and now you look like you're living under a bridge. You're loaded with talent and hopefully someone soon will "discover" it. Best wishes.
Craig Ferguson and Conan O'Brien, the 2 best hosts of all time. Their shows weren't really the same format as the other Late-night night ones. Comedy/improv always came first, over the script, if there even was one. people actually LOVE him, what u see is what you get, he's no mouthpiece and has his own standards and morals not speaking for some corpo. it was just pure entertainment. no propaganda.
Craig sold his home in Los Angeles and moved back to Scotland. He got tired of the celebrity circles he was in and his boy is now in school in Scotland and nobody knows him in Scotland so he can mostly walk around unrecognised. He went to America to be famous and make money and he succeeded and is still sober and is doing stand up comedy touring including dates in America.

Dude, seriously. I couldn't even get through the entire fucking video because of that shit. Like every three words they say right, he didn't even get to complete a thought and they're saying right again. Like what are you saying right to? he didn't even fucking say anything yet. Jesus Christ, what terrible radio talk hosts.
In their defensive I don't think either of them have ever worked in radio. They train that shit out of you pretty fast. It's mostly them feeling like they HAVE to say something, anything.
Plus their microphones are turned up louder than Craig's so to get enough volume to hear him you get them blasting in with "yeah", "right", etc. I couldn't make it through the entire interview.
The host was very annoying, but I think part of the microphone thing in this case is because Craig is so much more expressive and his maximum speaking volume is much louder than the host's relative monotone so they offset their mic volumes
That Bowie reference was so insightful and on point. I agree with him - we've had our turn at making a mess of things, surely they can do no worse! With so many existential threats to deal with (climate change, the threat to democracy, the inevitable demise of capitalism, the potential end of humanity - you know, a bunch of little stuff!), I don't envy their almost insurmountable task and wish them nothing but good will and success for the sake of all life on this planet. 🌍

It wasn't just his standup sections that were amazing at the beginning of each show, he was a hilarious interviewer. He could get a kind of mild guest with a topic that would have been a time filler on any other show and turn that little bit into something really enjoyable with the way he could find and coax out humor in anyone.
Craig Ferguson was the only late night guy who ever made me laugh on a regular basis.
Netflix, make a deal with CBS and upload The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson!
Renzo Farfán ...I don’t know how to link to channels, but here’s a link to a video on the archive channel ...

Jay Leno Fly here on youtube 😗👌
He's got loads of Lls stuff!
Craig Ferguson was the best late night host! I wish he would come back.
I wish he was still part of the late night shows. What he was able to pull off with what little he had to work with was incredible. I'm curious how much more he could have done if he had a bigger budget.
@Pete Alexandrou I think Craig was the best host, but he did the same stuff every night more than anyone. Time for e-mails!
Drink everytime Tom says "right" when Craig is talking
😊😀😁😃🙄😫😨😱🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 etc etc.
I've already checked myself into rehab
Octavyan ...no, no, no!
@Mike Urashevich I have to ask...I've only heard that line before from my dad retelling it from his past, as part of this...."Starkle starkle little twink, who the heck I are you think....." etc ...is that where you heard that also?! (I've just never heard anyone else say it!)
Dx... Are you trying to kill someone?
We need more Craig Ferguson. Make TV Great Again, bring back Craig Ferguson.
Oh, I wish you had stayed, Craig. You were the perfect follow up to Dave. When he retired, I think you would've been the correct person to fill those shoes. You are missed!
PS. Not crazy about Stephen Colbert.
I feel the same way. I was kinda upset when I found out it was over. I thought, he and Conan were the next ones in line to take over the reigns.
Been tired of Stephen for a LONG time. Wish he left, and Jon Stewart stayed.
SpockBoy YES!
The world wide pants suited his talent.
That bit about the tendency of complaining about "nowadays" it's so spot on, even Bill and Dave fall on that pit
OMG the hosts are so annoying,. stop saying RIGHT just let him talk OMFG
It is a way of being vocally engaged in real conversation (not mic recorded) to keep the sound energy and flow going. But you're right, it does not work at all in this context.
right
right uh huh yeah right right
right right right right right right
riiiiight
Craig with Papa and Fortune.....intelligent humor. That was great.
Craig had always special fan base. I am lucky to be one of them. And what i have noticed we dont much like the rest of late night show anchors. I felt really bad when watching his last episode. Anyways, great man, great unique sense of humor.
Only talk show I want on Blu-Ray I literally could watch this over and over! Great person!!
Craig is the best. I wish he was on now. He's so clever. I would watch him every night. Way better than the clowns they have on now and Letterman.
Craig, you always looked so nice on the show, and now you look like you're living under a bridge. You're loaded with talent and hopefully someone soon will "discover" it. Best wishes.
Craig Ferguson.... He was Geoff's sidekick, right?
/s
Yeah man, i got a place in sidekick, been there recently, really nice weather .. 💀
Geoff? I thought the horse was the star of the show.
This makes me like Craig even more. Especially the end. Thank you, sir
Netflix need to make another special with Craig 😄
Craig Ferguson and Conan O'Brien, the 2 best hosts of all time. Their shows weren't really the same format as the other Late-night night ones. Comedy/improv always came first, over the script, if there even was one. people actually LOVE him, what u see is what you get, he's no mouthpiece and has his own standards and morals not speaking for some corpo. it was just pure entertainment. no propaganda.
Secretariat. Carried. The show. 😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣☃️☃️☃️.
That and Prince Charles! 😂

Best late night show ever
How many times do we hear the djs say right!
I remember watching him in middle school on Friday when I stayed up late😂
Craig sold his home in Los Angeles and moved back to Scotland. He got tired of the celebrity circles he was in and his boy is now in school in Scotland and nobody knows him in Scotland so he can mostly walk around unrecognised.
He went to America to be famous and make money and he succeeded and is still sober and is doing stand up comedy touring including dates in America.
The only late night talk show I ever watched, miss this guy , wish he could have a comeback
yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right,yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right
yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right,yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right
yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right,yeah,yeah,yeah,right,right...
every time Craig Ferguson said something, it's beyond annoying
Viejotrueno I know, right?
They are so annoying, both of them.. Why wouldn't they just shut the fuck up?
did you guys not listen? Dont be angry about such small stuff.
Yo would be doing the same if you were talking to him.
Wooowwww
If Toms says “Right” or “Yeah” ONE MORE FUCKING TIME I’m gonna lose it!
After reading these comments about "right, yeah, yeah, right" I thought that it can't be that bad.
But come on, it's freakin pissing me off.
Love Craig's show so much!
If you have seen his interviews on youtube you know that he is the greatest talk show host of all time
His late night show was my favorite! ❤️
How many times can these hosts say the words "yeah" , "right" , "wow" , "sure" lol. For crying out loud shuttttttupppp!!!!
Yeah. Right.. it was cool tho ... Woow
In their defensive I don't think either of them have ever worked in radio. They train that shit out of you pretty fast. It's mostly them feeling like they HAVE to say something, anything.
it's better than talking over the guest
Plus their microphones are turned up louder than Craig's so to get enough volume to hear him you get them blasting in with "yeah", "right", etc. I couldn't make it through the entire interview.
I still watch the reruns Craig your my favorite late nite show host
Why is the host tuned in louder than the guest, and constantly trying to muscle his way into the mic?
Krystal Myth
Why don’t they both just shut the hell up and stop saying “yeah” “right “ and LISTEN
Sigh!
The host was very annoying, but I think part of the microphone thing in this case is because Craig is so much more expressive and his maximum speaking volume is much louder than the host's relative monotone so they offset their mic volumes
Probably afraid he'd end up taking over the show and put them out of their jobs.
A bit like graig did with guests ..just stating a fact ..
Craig please don’t disappear, any kind of come-back...I’ll take it!!!
I go back to Carson and don't think that anyone comes close to Craig.
What the Hell happened to Celebrity Name Game? That was the best game show with, Craig as host, ever.
