Been alive long enough to remember 40 years of late night. Besides Johnny Carson on a good night, Craig is BY FAR the funniest late night host throughout the years.
You can’t really compare the two though. Johnny was a polished host who liked to have every moment scripted and planned. Craig loves to wing it, (or at least he has the appearance of doing so). They are both great in their own way.

Except for the exceptional Craig this compilation also shines a little light on the brilliance of the invisible actor improvising all of the Geoff feedback to Craigs utterly random and unpredictable outbursts of sheer funny. They do so really great together!

It's pretty easy to find a tool to download playlists from TH-cam. It's about a hundred gigabyte...just takes an hour or so depending on your internet speed.
I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and discovered this guy, this team and this show by pure luck on this ocean of videos. I just wonna say thank you. He was and still is a helpfull meducine during bad times or when I just desire for some laughs. Btw, unscripted parts of show and conversation between Craig and Geoff are priceless comedic history.
Pure unadulterated comedy. I remember hearing about the late late show but never really put much thought into it because all the late shows are dull and boring. After I discovered this, I feel so ashamed that I didn’t put much thought into it plus it’s all over now. Thank you so much Jayleno Fly for doing all of this, your work is not in vain. I do wish Mr. Ferguson will come back or do something as incredible as this again

I couldn't watch that. The opening where he was talking about his mother was so hard to watch. He could barely hold himself together. At the end of the monologue he just stares into space realizing his parents are gone. It was heartbreaking.
I love the rant he had on the internet douche 😂 spontaneous comedy really is the recipe why his show is so funny and different. I don't think any of the late night show hosts right now has the balls to do their show unrehearsed like good ol' Craigyferg. Truly a legend.

Craig did the pre-recorded voice, at the beginning, but that was a disaster. Larry King did a guest spot as the robot voice in 2011. Larry was amusingly clueless. Some other celebs did guest spots when Josh was away: Alfred Molina, Dominic Monaghan, Thomas Lennon, Larry King, Louie Anderson, Lauren Graham, Paula Poundstone, Angela Kinsey, Jason Schwartzman, and Shadoe Stevens (who also did the opening of the show).

Craig perfected his craft with no writers to do his jokes, it all came from his natural ability to entertain people and improvise comedic timing that makes you being tricked at first and then he brings in the funniest punchline that you never saw it coming. @@seamac206 I think he did for a while but it ran longer than he expected. Word was he was gonna walk halfway through his run but he decided to stay on as long as Letterman was on before him. But I think he liked it in the long run; if you watch his demeanor during the monologue of his last episide he seemed genuinely choked up and emotional.

That was creepy. The moment Geoff spoke on 4:22, my Windows decided to play the notification sound. Making it seem like my Windows was censoring Geoff.
It still amazes me that there was that much censorship on a show that aired starting at 12:30AM. How uptight is the FCC? Are people going to complain that their young kid heard these words on here? The kids probably hear/say worse at school and they also should not be watching these shows. Especially having to show a picture of a small bird before he can say tit and then while showing an eagle the word tit is bleeped out.
