I had friends who with a church group to Israel and visited many placs. When they returned they showed me many pictures and among them was a stone block with the top scooped or chisled out much like a dish would be. They asked if I knew what it was and when I said no they said "it is a manger". Then it hit me Jesus was a craftsman not just in wood but many mediums including stone. Wood was a rare commodity in Israel and very costly as well, stone on the other hand was in plentiful supply.

There is no evidence and I am sure he didn't leave israel because I don't think he have to come to india to learn scriptures written by Jews or their fathers. There is no point in it.
