I have been to the Philippines 6 times. My wife and daughter are from there. I love the filipino people! They are awesome! Whenever I go there it is like coming home for me. The people are so kind, welcoming, warm and have a wonderful sense of humor. It is so fun doing kareoke with them. Ariel! You rock! Journey is a good as ever!

@@s.w.3604 Double-checked that and you're right. That would be no big deal for Ross and Neal because they could just de-tune a half step. But I wonder if Cain plays everything in the other key pattern or just uses a transpose feature (on his electronic keys, anyway). I'm sure he could do it, but it would be a bit of a pain if they've done that on ALL their songs.

Arnel sounds better now than a few years ago. His voice doesn't sound strained in this concert. I'm glad the team made some adjustments, and perhaps some medical interventions and rest for Arnel's voice. His voice sounds fresh, clean and powerful. 👍

Be grateful if you are fan of Journey. All the people posting negative comments are living in the past. If you think Journey is going to sound like it's 1982 you're out of your mind. Even if it was the Escape line up performing, people age, people change and it's not going to be the same almost 40 years later! Listen to Steve Perry's solo album. While it is quite good, his voice could never handle any of these songs live. Be thankful Arnel is performing with them and you're still able to see Journey live. If not, go see Dean and Greg with Journey Through Time (Awesome too!). Either way, stop with the negativity and be grateful these guys are still making music and performing for you.

I first saw this band in 1980, nearly 40 yrs ago. They sounded so good back then, leaps and bounds ahead of their peers. Live sound back then was iffy depending on the band, but Journey was incredible sounding.
I saw them recently, and they still send shivers when the vocal harmonies kick in.
Honestly, I am watching them only on TH-cam 😁😁 I am 48 from Indonesia
In terms of live performance, their vocals were indeed better than most bands.

it's amazing to see one of the greatest drummers in music history just banging out 2&4 arena rock anthems.
I cant think of any other band in the U.S. who lost their lead vocalist and found the exact replica of him...Journey is simply one of the best with Steve or Arnel.
Steve Perry is a legend but Arnel's story is awesome and he does such a great job. My first concert was Journey on the Escape tour and it was amazing but I would like to see them again with Arnel. Still think Steve Perry has the best voice in rock but it is amazing how much they sound alike. Have a great day everyone.

I'm 64. Dec.23/1986 My Buddy and myself hoped into my old 1973 Volvo and split Vancouver,B.C headed south on I -5 on our way to San Diego to see Journey and Glass Tiger.Took our chances with no tickets and bought two tickets at the gate. The man at the box said I've got a special treat for you guys and let us have a private box with drink service right up front. To this day that was the best concert I've ever been to.

I think they sounded great. I just saw them this past September in New Orleans and they blew me away, and I ain't even the biggest Journey fan. But they were simply incredible. For a bunch of guys in their mid-60s, and then I also found out during the show that Arnel is actually 51, they brought it. I think his voice is amazing and the guy's been fronting them for close to 15 years now, so he's doing something right, cuz they keep packing stadiums. I can only hope I have that sort of energy and charisma at 51. Loved it.
