I was nervous when you pulled the cab onto the block! I just found you're channel a few days ago and I'm thoroughly enjoying and learning from your restoration. Great stuff so far!!
I'm using nason brand 2k primer and epoxy and the evercoat rage extreme body filler,after body work I spray one coat of epoxy and three coats of 2k high build,then sand and prime agin until its smooth .this is my first time doing body work learning as I go thanks Steve
HAHAHA!!! That's so funny Steve!! That's almost EXACTLY how I did my cab!!! I had to lift mine WAY up in the air to get it on my frame. I had a big digging bar stuck in the end of my cherry picker to make it long enough to reach that high. Keep up the good work man!! :-)
Been watching all of your videos, I'm working on my 66, doing almost exactly the same stuff you are. You are doing a great job and are keeping me inspired to keep going on mine. Keep up the videos! Also do you have a list of all the products you are using? Like what brands of filler, epoxy, 2k you are using. What order are you priming? One base of epoxy, then all 2k after that? Thanks for the info!

Nice tooling for re orientating your cab, you picked it up at the best place the pinch weld. I did a 64 chevy and those cabs a heavy in relation to the truck cabs of new trucks . is the interior going to painted Fawn and white?

Hey there. I just got my 63 cab lifted off the frame and bought lumber to build the dolly rig you show in this video. Do you have dims on the cuts to build the frame? I have the wheels, 4x4s and 2x4s ready to go. Any help?? Thanks!!! (Used your videos to get so much done!!)
@@Gibson63. Hey and thank you! That helps a lot actually. I may have to not only measure for the cab, but also my lift legs to ensure I will clear the casters. Again, many thanks for the videos, they are an absolute life saver for me.
I wouldn't try it with the engine lift I'm using because it will lift on the back end when it is extended all the way out especially when you roll it away from the cab and it starts to sway

I just measured under the cab for a good fit, The 4x4s were 16’’ tall then I bolted the wheels under that which made it taller
I also use this for my bed in this video (sanding/install grille/bolt up bed) towards the end of the video
