    Autumn, thanks for your terrific videos! I've been IF since January. My husband and I will be trying for our second child starting next month, and I was wondering about IF while TTC, pregnant, and then breastfeeding. I just read something about how IF puts stress on your body and that it might not be a good thing to practice while trying to conceive.

    Autumn, I'm hearing a lot of negative info about linoleic acid (PUFAs). Even to the point that linoleic acid is the root of what is making us fat! And chia/flax are both high in linoleic acid. What are your thoughts on this?

    • @AutumnBates
      @AutumnBates  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Great question! Omega-3 and omega-6 are both essential fats that we need to be taking in because our body doesn’t make them. Unfortunately, too many people are consuming the extremely high levels of the more inflammatory omega-6 due to using oils such as safflower and sunflower oils (although this usually is also done while consuming highly processed and sugary foods, as this is what these oils are often used in). It’s important to have a balance of both omega-3 and omega-6 from high quality sources.
