    thank you for doing another morning routine video... I love when you do them. I noticed in your morning routine that you didn't do the apple cider vinegar in water in the morning. I was just wondering if you are still doing that ? I have Just started doing it for about 3 weeks and I love it. It has helped so much. I am starting at 1 tsp and working my way up to a 1 tablespoon. I also wanted to say thank you for all that you do.

    Hey, fellow thyroid sufferer here. Technically with any thyroid medication (as far as I know, its widely discussed in the thyroid patient community and by doctors I have spoke to) to get the best out of your thyroid medication its recommended to wait 1 hour after taking your medication to eat or drink. Especially consuming anything with calcium. It can decrease the efficiency of your thyroid medication by up to 30%. I usually wait three full hour, on occasions I forget to take it and still take it with my morning coffee and I don't notice any difference. Just I would let you know.

    Check the SPF in your skincare and make up. Many can effect hormone levels as well as thyroid levels. Octinoxate being one of the ones that effect thyroid. I have hashimotos. Great videos. Any more nutritional tips you might have for thyroid disease and hashimotos you can share?

    I’ve been told not to have anything to eat or drink for at least 1/2hr after having my Leo thyroxine as it lowers the impact of the medicine...how long do you leave yours? Xx

      Me too, the doctor told me not to eat anything after taking the medicine at least 30 minutes.

      I take mine when I go to bed because I can’t wait that long to eat in the mornings.

      Merari Roman I would say at least 2 hours after you eat. I eat dinner early and go to bed late so for me it’s more like 3-4 hours. It works for me bc I want to eat as soon as I wake up.

      yeah that's true. i'm a pharmacy student and have hypothyroidism as well. most people don't realize coffee can decrease its absorption but yeah it does.

      theFitty i think collagen makes it more creamy, and a little frothy if you mix it with a frothed or blender

    You mentioned so many great things in this video that made me subscribe! You have hypothyroidism as well which was #1 for me (hopefully the new pill helps), but you also understand the importance of your food such as the anti-inflammatory benefits of cinnamon and the benefits of cashew milk on your tummy and collagen in your coffee (I need to try that one, others have given me headaches). Flaxseed has phytoestrogens so I try to stay away from them with my thyroid issues but LOVED that smoothie you made and mention of selenium (love how you share what your food provides you for viewers). Not to mention you love pineapples too!? So excited to see what else I can learn and feel connected to your channel with!! :D

    You can drink coffee after your Thyroid Meds? I was told I needed to wait an hour before drinking coffee because it doesn't absorb.

      It varies between individuals, and it really depends on your medication! Some have fine absorption even with coffee or food, others dont. Your doctor will have the best advice for you on that!

    @lsf_chickadee here! I love being intentional about my morning. I usually do a ‘brain dump’ the night before of eeeeverrything I need to get done for the next day, week or month, I prioritize them and that way all of it is out of my head and I can rest easier. Then the morning is already planned out. I like to get as much done in the morning and then have afternoons be a little more relaxing and losey goosey! Thank you for these videos!

      I have researched a lot that soy might affect your hormones and so you might not want to mess with your hormones if you have a thyroid condition! This is what works for me, but you should totally figure out what works for you :)

    So I just recently found this app called think dirty which is about how good the products you use are for you. Most makeups and things have carcinogens and the app basically gives you a break down of all the chemicals in your products and if they are healthy for you or not. It also gives the reasons why some things are bad for you. Since you are interested in beauty free and healthy things I thought you may want to check it out!

      bridemonslayer I could not agree with this comment more! It’s great that Wet ‘n’ wild is cruelty free, but their products contain lots of chemicals that your skin absorbs. What goes on your skin can be arguably just as important as what goes in it when eating and drinking!

      Lauren Kubert yes surprisingly I found that most of the nice expensive products I have been using have some harmful ingredients even though I really love them. The app offered some alternatives that I may look into. I’m just super happy that I randomly found it through tumblr and that it’s helping me make better skin choices. And I also loved that it was free lol.

      Gigi Marie some products aren’t as expensive and still good for you. I know some people buy high end products and they are still bad for you and you could buy something cheaper that is more healthy. I just think it’s good in general to read ingredients. There are some things in my bathroom that are listed as bad (like acne treatment because of salicylic acid) that I still keep. Everything’s fine in moderation but figuring which is the most harmful is probably good.
