This hammer method worked great for me after trying to remove my steering wheel for more than 3 weeks. I used it on my 2013 Nissan Frontier. I even broke a gear puller before using the hammer. Thanks very much for posting this video.
Don't do it this way, get a puller. And don't use steering wheel lock to remove the center nut you can breaker the lock do it this way, To remove the nut first turn the key to unlock the steering wheel.
Nice trick 👌 I have a 79 that's my baby. I gutted my interior if u know anyone that wants it. It's all black. Door panels, dash, all the small pieces. All complete even the roof panel and roof light

It helps when you are in a jam. Puller is always the best way to go.

It should work on any steering wheel as long as the column is in good shape. Just be careful with the threads on the steering shaft.
