I was already looking forward to the EXP. This makes it even more exciting. Final Fight is the jewel for me. Fair play to Blaze. People have asked for merch, better screens and big name games. Now we have them all. 🕹️

Vulgus was capcoms first game. We wanted to include it as a part of history as it’s usually overlooked

I dropped a lot of quarters and tokens into 1942 back in the day, but I've never played the sequels. '43 and '44 look absolutely brilliant! Can't wait to try them out!

Ok, I'm quite impressed by this line up. Even 1944 looks good to me 😳

To me the craziest part is seeing mega man x, the game I bought new at target during clearance in 1999-2000, being released on an official cart again in 2022

As great as it is that we're getting Capcom games on the EXP, i find this line up to be a bit "Been there, done that." Between the PS2 Capcom Collections, both the Arcade Stadium releases on current gen consoles, the Mega Man Legacy collections and the GBA port of Breath of Fire, there's nothing here I don't already own several times over. It would have been great if they put more focus on their console releases, in particular games like the NES versions of Bionic Commando, Final Fight and Strider (Which are all very different to their arcade counterparts), Final Fight 2 and 3 for the Snes, and the Mega Drive version of Mercs- worth it alone for the extra mode that was included in that version.

You never know with Evercade. 2 years ago I saw the first review on Game Sack. A handheld with old games from mainly B brands. You had the Namco collections and there were a few other games that interested me. But it was a lot of Atari games and NES platformers. There were also no special things like Arcade ports. In addition, the game controls were broken and things didn't go quite right when Joe played the handheld on the TV via HDMI. I saw the episode and thought, skip! A few months later I wanted to buy Xeno crisis. When I started looking for this game it turned out that the easiest way to get this game was on the Evercade. The first thing I thought was, on that budget thing? Then I started looking at more reviews and saw that there were already many more good games to play on it and that they were going to release a home console and Arcade ports. I then decided to buy an Evercade with Xeno crisis. From that day on, I'm actually convinced of Evercade and its possibilities. There is more and more quality. The first Arcade carts had fun games. Sly Spie, Magical Drop, Gate of Doom, and especially the Gealco collection impressed with games like Aligator Hunt and Mechanical toy. But it was all a bit obscure. No one could have predicted that a year later the Arcade versions of R-Type, In The Hunt, Truxton would be playable on Evercade. Let alone Streetfighter 2, and 13 other Arcade games from Capcom. Now a few people are complaining that they can't play the Capcom games on the VS or that there is no multiplayer. But who's to say this won't change in the future? So far, Evercade continues to amaze. Capcom is a huge fish. Other companies like Konami, SNK, Sega will also notice this. Who knows what this will bring about? Maybe in a year we will be playing Contra or Metal Slug in multiplayer on VS or EXP. I wouldn't be surprised.

Remember also that Bomber Raid on the SMS is a decent 1942 clone as well. Worth seeking out, pricey complete but carts are cheap for what is essentially a top drawer shmup.

Not finished watching the whole video yet but totally agree about the two beatemups. Final Fight & Captain Commando are two of the best beatemups IMO

Great games, though I have most of them in the PS2 and PSP collections. This will be the first time I’ve wanted a right analog stick - Forgotten Worlds is so much better with one.

Breathe of Fire is a great game and superb series. Save points will help a lot with this as the in game points are pretty spread out. Oh, and it actually is a Capcom game, not Squaresoft, and was Capcom’s attempt at getting into the turn based JRPG genre.
