    Hello! I am currently completing year 12 and just submitted my ANU application - I also live on the far south coast. I picked PPE as my first choice- you enjoy it? Are there any pluses or minuses for that choice? Thank you 😊

      Hi @indijay. Great to hear that you are that you are considering studies at the ANU, by and large, it is a great school. Although I was accepted into the PPE degree I chose a Bachelor of International Relations. Both degrees are fairly similar, and you can definitely shift between the disciplines if there is one you decide that you prefer. You should note that the ANU is cutting many arts based courses from this year. I would suggest that you look at the degree page (programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/2021/program/bppe) to see the specific subjects required in your degree. That really helped me when I was deciding on a degree especially the subject section, as the subject outlines are largely indicative of the subject. On this page you can also find whether the course is running next year. If you don't like any of the electives which you need to choose I would suggest you look elsewhere or in a different course as it is awful doing lots of subject you aren't interested in (but bear in mind there will always be a few subjects that aren't so interesting, however, I found that I LOVED many of the subjects offered in my degree so it evened out). Hope this helped! Feel free to request any videos and follow the channel for more ANU content. Good luck with your HSC!

    do you have any thoughts on Fenner Hall? i was just accepted there!!

    • @Brindarcey
      @Brindarcey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mad Skier,
      Fenner looks like a great hall with a close knit community, perfect if you new and don't have many close ANU contacts. I have never been there but I have a couple of friends who go and the accommodation looks very new!
      All the best,
      Brin :)

    Is it difficult to get accepted from ANU if you live in a different state? I'm aus citizen

    • @Brindarcey
      @Brindarcey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi John! No, the state you live is not factored into your eligibility. You must apply through UAC, and the most important factors are your school results and personal circumstances. Though I would recommend speaking to your school careers counsellor or calling ANU admissions for further clarification. I came from a different state and I didn't feel that impacted my acceptance at all :) All the best!

      Hi Pooja, I suggest you watch my video here th-cam.com/video/8M9BZm0VGLg/w-d-xo.html about a study day at the ANU. The degree will look different for everyone based on the subjects you choose, however I suggest watching this video to see what one of my study days was like. I apologise in advance for the shakiness, I was shy about vlogging!

      @Brindarcey  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ira, unfortunately I cannot help you apply for a the ANU as an international student or with specific information about the process. I do not have the experience or expertise to do so and I wouldn't want to say something incorrect or misleading. However here is the link to the ANU site which can: www.anu.edu.au/study/apply/international-students
      ☺️ Good Luck
