@@lizasquartz2634 hey! I am from India, I’ll tell you my grade according to that. Overall I scored 97% in grade 12. (Economics = 100, Mathematics = 97, Business studies = 97, Accounting =96, English =95). Other then academics, I had a great record in curricular activities in school and outside school. My selection rank with that from ANU was 99.95, which is the max you can get. From this, I was awarded the scholarship of 50%. Hope this helps! Lmk if you got any queries. :)))))

Hello! I am Sahran Khuwaja. I am computer science student (final year). I want to pursue masters degree in Artificial intelligence and machine learning. This programme is only offered by ANU canberra.
I want to ask that, is it good to live in Canberra? Can international student get job there to survive expenses?

@@ChoosingYourUni I want to program smart artificial intelligence based robots. That's why I want to learn machine learning and computer vision along with robotics. And ANU is Australian no 1 university and this programme with so much options are only available in ANU canberra. But the thing is that while studying, how can I get part time job to overcome my educational expenses in Canberra?
That's a good question. Canberra is big enough to have quite a lot of casual/part time work available, but it depends on if you're fussy about what part time work you want to do.
With what you're studying, have you also thought about doing some online contracting/casual work? I would think there should be demand for people skilled in programming of any sort for online work?
Hey, I am currently a student in year 9 going into year 10 in Sydney, Australia I was just wondering what the criminology and psychology courses are like at ANU? It would be amazing if you could tell me if it’s a good uni for those areas or if I should look at other local universities. I have looked into Newcastle before and a few others. I love Canberra and am eager to move away and go to a University away from Sydney to live in a new place and to see what it has to offer me. I am looking at becoming a forensic psychologist in the future! Thanks for reading it 😊

For criminology Id also look at Griffith in QLD. If it’s on the Gold Coast campus that would be epic because their criminology program is 👍👍👍
Its impressive how much research you have done on ANU. i am currently in 9th grade, and i am really looking forward on getting into ANU someday. I haven't set up a full fledged plan, but i want to become an astrophysicist!! And i have heard that ANU is great for it! Any tips that could help me accomplish this dream? hey rob, i was wondering whether a university like this would be good for a commerce and it degree(something like business information technology or business analytics) for bachelor's. Can you suggest any universities other than this which are good for this field as per your knowledge?
ANU is an excellent uni all round, one of the top in the country. It’s programs are going to be more theoretical than others (eg economics is really strong there), so it really depends what you’re hoping to do at the end of the program.

Hi Amit! I am a current student at ANU and I also enjoyed Robs tour of the ANU before I arrived. I sympathise with you about how difficult it can be to find good content about life at the ANU. I am creating some content about my experiences at ANU currently and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. (I try to be as unbiased as possible, also, I don't have much to say about the Comp. Sci. department, but in general the new infrastructure is really good!) :)

Sorry, I'm not really in a position to make that recommendation. I would recommend you look at a ranking for that: www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2018/engineering-technology
But ALWAYS look at the detail of each university - some might have real strengths in the sub-disciplines you're hoping to study. i.e. what AREA of biomed are you hoping to get into?
Looking at this ranking data, both Monash and Melbourne rank very highly, with RMIT not far behind. BUT this doesn't also tell you about the student experience/employability. If you're interested in that too, I'd recommend you look at the QILT website (Quality Indicators of Learning and Teaching).

Remains one of Australia’s top programs in that area. If I were to chose any uni in the country for that, it would be ANU.
I am pursuing Master of Management ( Specialisation in Business Analytics), do you think its a good course? And is it worth it going to Canberra in terms of Part time and Full time Jobs ?
Don't know the specifics of that course.
I entered my master degree in 2018 when Kambri was being built. Kambri now is the heart of the uni. Good video...

Yes! Economics is good at the ANU! And Canberra is a great place to be to study that too.
