9:37 This is actually bad technique here. You're stepping forward with your right foot before each jump. Good idea about the emom!

I've kinda got to agree but I think the bigger issue is that I think some of these reps are invalid. According to the form rules for the broad jumps you can't take any steps in between reps and I would argue that's what you're doing with that staggered one foot technique. I think most judges wouldn't pull you up on it but if you had a stickler you would be getting distance penalties....just my take though!

Agree, the rules are clear :
When standing back up/jumping back from the bottom position, feet
cannot pass the (previously placed) position of the athletes hand.

Thanks for the feedback but it hasn’t served me any bad service yet! :)

I also agree with a stickler of a judge you would probably get no repped for this too, but I’m aware how to change it there and then! The staggered stance isn’t an issue also as long as it’s a two footed jump

@@aaronobrienfitness4151 You've been lucky :) Those staggered jumps are clearly illegal.

This technique is not valid and a breach of the rules. You can't stagger the feet or step them pass the hands.

That’s fine mate! I’m fully aware of that now, thank you.

@@aaronobrienfitness4151 the rules were changed at the start of the 2022 season to stop this tactic.
