There is a place to check in your bag / personal items at the race. In terms of washing after the race, it will differ depending on venue, but in my experience (in the UK), then no, there isnt anywhere for a shower.
Hey. Its hard to say to be honest - depends on how soft the grass is etc. As well as the sled youre using, underside of it. Best thing you can do is load it up so it really hard but just about moveable and do that in your training!

Is grass easier or harder than what they use in a comp?
Got first one in january. Managed 70kg on grass. Need plenty of work

No carbon plates for your shoes, the plate won't flex and pulls your heel out of your shoe.
