I would absolutely recommend you go back to their self-titled album. It's an underground classic but seems overlooked by most of the reactors. Their production has always been great because Jari doesn't seem to do anything halfway.
the sudden end surely symbolizes death, after it there is nothing. the drums on this track are programmed, but this song was performed live a few times and you can find it on TH-cam. and after listening to all 4 seasons, you should watch "the Forest Documentary" about how this album was created.
Wintersun's composer-lyricist Jari Mäenpää is a top musician. The album "The Forest Seasons" was released in 2017, although the band had played at least one song ("Summer") in concerts before the album was released. This album has a drum machine instead of a drummer, Kai Hahto was recovering from a hand injury and was unable to play. So Jari replaced him with a machine !!! (Kai Hahto nicknamed "Human metronome" is replaced by a machine !!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ) Basically, Jari Mäenpää plays all the instruments on this album (guitars, drums, bass, synthesizers and orchestrations). Wintersun's second guitarist and bassist are just background vocals. In addition, the song "The Forest That Weeps (Summer)" has a backing choir consisting of 16 Finnish metal musicians from different bands! The album's songs progress in the order Spring > Summer > Autumn > Winter. In addition, the last two involve events related to Jari's personal life situation. At the time of the song "Eternal Darkness (Autumn)", his father was seriously ill and Jari had to help him a lot (doctor and hospital visits, pharmacy issues, etc.). So it was a depressing time for Jari and you can see and feel that in the song. Then for the winter song, "Loneliness (Winter)", her father is already dead. You can clearly hear this in the song (especially the lyrics)!
Love this channel man. You look like Trevor Strnad. It makes me so sad and happy at the same time lol. Weird feeling. Anyways, keep up the amazing work!
Thank you for your amazing reaction video for this masterpiece, and it's also enjoying to listen to the song and to see your reaction at the same time, most importantly, you didn't pause, thumbs up man! and the sudden end at the end of the song, after Jari sang: I am death, it's more like representing the suddenness of the death, like a heart suddenly stopped beating, Like a brain suddenly stopped making nerve pulse, death is unpredictable, it comes with a sudden silence and brings everything into silence. Thanks again for this, Love from China!
I'm on the Wintersun journey with you. I promise I won't listen to any new songs you haven't reacted to. lol. All the layers... It's like a painting. All the layers together create the colors and images. I googled them and noticed every page is labeling this genre differently. lol. They called it progressive metal, melodic death metal, extreme metal... Maybe it's just all of these things and more.
That's it, i definetely need more Wintersun in my life. This band is just freaking mindblowing.

Jari Mäenpää poetry. The ends sudden stop and darkness is perfect.
Completely caught me off guard
I’ve been listening to Wintersun since their first album and they remain one of my favorite bands to this day. They are elite.
I was driving to work today listening to them. Such a dope band!
Dark and beautiful. Perfect depiction of autumn. Death and decomposition of nature.
Only "Spring" left now. The most uplifting song on the album.
Can't wait!
This song is perfection, fast and furious and melodic
After autumm comes winter...my toplisted wintersun song

The theme and lyrics of this track reminds me of Nightwish's Endlessness.

Masterpiece.
Classical music, you know? In 100 years Wintersun will be among them, Jari is just an incredible composer.
Masterpiece for sure, Jari is insane and a genius!
That was SOOOO intense. I wouldn't be able to listen to this often, but when I do listen to them, it's incredible.
Yea, some songs are an experience
From the happiest country in the world.

So many layers ✨
for sure a song to listen to with headphones on
Like a girl’s make-up kit
Great reactions man, just subscribed!
I hope you get to Wintersuns debut album eventually, all the songs are amazing on that one too
The best album ever for sure! I have two of those still on plastic wraps.
much love friend! I will for sure cause damn this is a great band!
And now listen to Nightwish's Endlessness (lyric video). The sound is different, but the lyrics and the theme...
Dir En Grey - Vinushka (Live version). Uroboros album - Reiketsu Nariseba. 👍👍 Your reactions
Wintersuns is like an onion or an Ogre, so many layers.
Facts!
So Jari is not the Vivaldi or Beethoven or Mozart of metal... He is the Shrek of metal
Assemble the Chariots - Engulfed by Sun !!!!!!!!1
Me gusta más la versión instrumental, esos double Pickings suenan demasiado épicos en la parte 6:49 en adelante.
Watch Forest Dokumentary FULL you can see how Wintersun work! 😉
Can you React to Jari Lindholm July Sundown, epic sadnes with beautifull melodies...

They are soooo good, I was sitting in my work parking lot listening to them before walking in.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody And when you walk in your outfit magically changed to viking clothes and an ax. Oops.
There’s no doubt Jari is a super talented dude. His songwriting is stupid good.
wait! you didn't react to "Sons of Winter and Stars" yet?? do it NOW!
LOL Yes Sir!
Too prog for me, but the musicianship is undeniably world-class!
Can they survive being the minor league for Nightwish?
