the more i look at a truck camper the more i am leaning to it.
We love our truck camper! You can take them off the beaten path and get into a lot of places where a pull behind or 5th wheel couldn't go.
Hope you are rich. Truck campers are WAY overpriced for what you get. Many travel trailers are half the price with the same equipment. and you don't need to buy a big huge heavy one either they make some outstanding small lightweight campers now and you don't need a 70+ thousand dollar truck to move them around like you do a truck camper.

They really need to study Earthroamers and step up their game. Full roof of solar . Nicer stuff in them too. Be worth just saving up lol
You're going to need a good solar system.
This INSANELY WAY OVER PRICED camper doesn't come equipped with what you need.
A motor home usually comes with two alternators, one to charge your vehicle battery and one to charge your in-house batteries, so you can get way with less solar.
I got a 2004 VW Rialta, and even though i have two alternators, i put two 400-watt solar panels, and put two ECO-WORTHY 12V 280Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery LiFePO4 so I can camp and go out even in freezing temperatures.

great review Mitchell. My only concern is the single a/c unit in the kitchen. Based on the design, air may not easily move to the bedroom. They should incorporate a small fan to move air to the rear. I do believe the Artic Fox to be an exceptional product.
If you are seriously considering this camper, then I would also consider a 1 ton DRW. I tried a SRW and no joy for me without some extensive mods. This camper will be 5000# plus when fully loaded.

Must have been a gm. Ford and especially Ram don't have that issue. Ford is the new king of recalls, and gm is owned by china. Their diesel is made and designed by Isuzu.
It’s 3200 dry. Maybe not quite 5000, but I’d say 4500 with tanks loaded and food/supplies. Any Dually will handle it fine
Very nice, covers all the basics and does them well.
These things never have a chill and relax spot like a min front roo! With a lip room in front and to the side with a tv and game system with a couple friends.
An additional patio will be helpful in the near future model.
They really need to update their drab dark interior colors
💯 agree, I have a new 2023 artic fox 1150, its build like a tank and is a wonderful camper, but the interior is very drab and outdated, they desperately need to update the interiors and maybe just maybe upgrade the technology inside from the mid 2000's

I saw the bedroom and thought why not have a murphy bed in there. During the day it is a tv and sitting room and at night pull the bed down and it becomes a bedroom.
That thing is massive. I guess it’s a truck bed camper for a Ford F650
An F350 or Ram/Chevy 3500 series will handle the weight depending on year and set up.

It's a different price at all dealers since it depends on which part of the country you get it :)

These are nice to be compact but between the price tag on the camper and then the huge price tag on a truck capable of putting this on it's insane lol. Very nice though for something so small.
In most camper cases, the pick up is not used exclusively for the camper. I pull many different trailers on mine.
True...for the price of the camper and big (serious) truck to carry it, may as well get a Class B instead...and likely for less $$.

That thing is going to be a lot more than 3200 pounds dry. More like closer to 4000 and 5k plus wet with belongings in it.
Basically that is my palomino hs 2902
Propane gens are the worst. I might be sold on it if you had a diesel version. Plus a 45w solar panel? What are people going to do with that? Can barely charge a smartphone with that.
If my jeep Gladiator pulls 6000 will it hopefully pull securely with no problem ??

Anybody know if you can open the door with fox landing in the upright position ? Would be nice to access camper with a trailer attached !
The fox landing has to go dowm - but theres a slot so it can go down over a trailer hitch without hitting. Thanks for watching!

I believe Host makes a few triple slide truck campers. Eagle cap no longer does.

Propane hose by the steps(trip hazard). Outside shower should be on driver side not camp side(actually the whole camp side is utility and should be on driver side).
Are you that dumb that when a grill is hooked up youd trip over that hose?
You back in to most camp sites making your camp side to a driver side.

Wet weight is 4500 lbs , you can't put that on a srw
