Enter the Recreational Photography mode. Whether we start documenting, shooting family and lifestyle, or just engage more with landscape or street photography, now is a good time to refocus on what is truly important in life… That's right, you heard me! As soon as I heard the trumpet intro I knew this was the channel for me :). So good to hear someone just riff to camera like this, glad I found your channel!

    Fuji do a tiny pancake lens at 27mm and its a cracking little lens - the only set back is its full auto so zone focus is a problem - but in auto mode its fast auto focus and produces excellent image quality - greetings from Ireland -

    Just subscribed. I am a professional photographer. Currently shooting with 3 Canon, 2 DSLRs and a mirrorless. I enjoy more shooting with the DSLR. I would buy a vintage lens for my Rebels, they have EF mount, what lens you would recommend?

    • @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003
      @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd recommend the Chinons 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm… as well as Helios 50mm, and a Tair 135mm… You will need an M42 adapter which are very inexpensive online... :0)

    My friend, do the old FD lenses fit on any EF mount. You really made me interested. Keep going strong man.

    • @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003
      @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Funnily enough, I don't think the FD will work on the EF mount because the EF distance is too great. I think I read somewhere that the FD's will hit the mirror or something. Having said that, they will work on EFM mount, and M42 lenses work fine on both.

    Just a thought,
    Perhaps you should start a photo tour service. Can be street photography or more formal, all the places of interest. Half day or custom tour, topped off with your photo book of the shoot. Perhaps get on local hotels/ tour group list. I would be interested in that rather than on your left is --- --.

    Great vlog, I have a 15-45 for my M50, but as I have the M, it came with the 22 and the 18-55mm. 18-55 is the best lens as you have pointed out.
    Thanks for conversion factor as I can never remember!
    Agree, the marketing by camera manufacturers is completely overkill for the market that is there. Its ready to pop.

      I think Canon have discontinued the 18-55 m lens... What the hell is wrong with them? 😳

      @@lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003 think its too expensive to make, they have always compromised the M line up when it comes to lenses

    I have the 15-45 on my M50. I think its a shade smaller than the 18-55. When researching the M50 most of TH-cam said the 15-45 was not good enough but I've found it to be a very good all rounder. I'm actually very happy with the kit lens and my £99 22mm.

    • @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003
      @lifetimesofamultiplemediam1003  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes.... the 15-45 might be a tad smaller. What I don't like about it, is that you have to unlock it before you can use it, and then the inner barrel is always exposed. I shoot in all weathers, and wasn't happy with the idea of having to use an exposed inner barrel in the rain. The 18-55 does not have that problem, at 18mm the inner barrel is fully closed, which I guess offers a little protection. Secondly, the zoom reach is only 45mm which is about 70mm equivalent… On the street, that never seems like enough reach when you need it. 80mm or more is what you want. Since I got my 18-55, I only time I find myself reaching for my 22mm is at night… 🤔

    Ramadan Mubarak, Yes Ramadan is always passing fast and congrats to who can get its benefits & blessings.
    agree market is tough now a days but Allah is great and as he could feed the whales in the oceans Allah can feed us too 😉
    Try the 7artisans 25mm f1.8 or the CCTV 25mm f1.8 on the m50 for the street and you will not regret 👍
