Correction to 7:40 : The explanation is slightly off as most frame perfects don't actually scale proportionally in difficulty. Because of alignment, a 60FPS frame perfect on a higher FPS like 360 could range anywhere from a 1 - 11 frame(s) time-window. Special Thanks to the people that took their time to correct me on this one.🙏
Sorry for being nerd, but I think the answer to the question "What is the hardest game in world?" is undefined, since a lot of games has infinite difficulty, what I mean by that is some games like geometry dash, mario maker, osu and a lot of rhythm games, you can make a level that requires a lot of precision it might be humanly impossible, geometry dash is a good example, geometry dash has an entire list of humanly impossible levels made by the community, doesn't matter how good you are you will never beat some of those levels, and comparing the difficulty of these games is like comparing infinity with infinity, which it doesn't make sense, and it's undefined, correct me if I'm wrong.
You are absolutely correct! It's just a biased opinion at the end of the day! 😁 However, one thing is that the difficulty in GD has been pushed way higher than other games over the years (correct me if I'm wrong) and we could technically count that as the game being at the top of the list.
the thing is that games arent perfect too like geometry dash x pos limit or any other bug that makes the game unplayable because of that the games dont go to infinity the next best thing to what youre talking about is the theoratically possible levels list on gd
I agree with this but also there is a point to comparing which game has been pushed the furthest. It isn't the game itself but how far the community has pushed it. In that way GD is one of the games that has been pushed the furthest(along with osu which could be considered maybe more difficult). Example: Fnaf fangames also have a infinite potential for difficulty but the community is way smaller than GD and there are less people pushing skill so they havn't so far reached tidal wave difficulty(though they theoretically can).
I agree with you. We should compare the achievements, not the games themselves. If someone reached a skill set to verify a new top 1, that new top 1 has no longer infinite difficulty because the skill required for it has been reached by a human.
We could rank each games difficulty on how skilled the players are and the skill ceiling reached by the top players, also how long it takes the average player to get to certain points of difficulty in the game I’d say chess would be the hardest game just because the top players have put their entire life into playing it
Fun fact that most people dont know:if you check "top hardest games in the world" you see games like "legends of zelda" (that doesn't even sound /feel hard) but if you count those out, geometry dash is rated as the 7th hardest game in the world.
It all comes down to which games players have pushed the difficulty in the most and proved that it's humanly possible! However, my opinion could be a bit biased lol
Beating a top 1 in GD is probably one of if not the hardest video game achievement you can pull off. If you don't count becoming the best player in a game, cuz that's obviously hard asf in every game.
@@KokonutOil ye i think i agree. i mean jtoh has probably 1/50th the active community that GD has, so it makes sense that GD will have a lot more talented players. I think the way you explained higher refresh rates is misleading. You said that higher refresh rates allow players to see the gameplay more smoothly 2:38 . but the only reason more fps makes the game easier is less input delay which happens because of the way the game is coded (the click isn't registered until the frame is over) and making it look smoother isn't rly what helps ppl.
@@Innerspacezombie Was thinking of mentioning this, but with 2.2 already being out, as far as I know it fixes it by making them locked at 240fps physics. Correct me if I'm wrong.
the explanation at 7:40 is slightly misleading because it implies that a 60 fps frame perfect will have exactly 6 frames on 360 fps (which would be the exact same difficulty) when in reality it can vary and have less or more frames available in comparison to the length of time. other than that, and the explanation of higher refresh rates being better at 2:38 because it makes the game smoother (when in reality, it's not for that reason, but rather because inputs become generally easier with more available frames), the video is good
@@yea-u8b It may vary, but the difference is minimal. And a higher refresh rate does make the game feel smoother, or rather, the entire screen feel smoother, because there are more frames per second registering on the screen.

good video, though your explanation of frame perfects is slightly off at 7:40. you said that a 60 fps frame perfect would be a 6 frame window on 360, but that's not always the case. based on your alignment because of your framerate throughout the level, it will drastically affect how some clicks function. a click could be a 60 fps frame perfect because you are really fast and just barely nick the corner of a hitbox 1 frame early and 1 frame late. However, you could have a click at that same exact moment in the level on 60 fps that would also be frame perfect, but perfectly fix the hitboxes so that on that 1 single frame where you click you just barely miss the top and bottom hitboxes. both of those clicks will be the exact same difficulty on 60 fps. when you go to a higher fps, those clicks will not be the same difficulty; the first click will become much easier and the 2nd click will become much harder. for the majority of frame perfects in hard levels that humans have beat, the 60 fps frame perfects become easier and wider timings at higher fps. if all 60 fps frame perfects scaled proportionally at higher fps, then the timing window for them would remain the exact same, as a 1 frame window in 1 sec/60 frames would be the exact same as a 6 frame window in 1 sec/360 frames. the way your explanation is worded in the video suggests that when you play on 360 fps, you will now have the timing equivalent of six 60 fps frames to do the click that only has one 60 fps frame to do. tldr: 1. not all frame perfects are made equal. a 60 fps frame perfect could be 1 frame on 360 or could be several more than 6 frames on 360. 2. alignment in a level affects frame perfects when changing between fps. different fps have different accuracies for clicks 3. most frame perfects don't scale proportionally in difficulty as the video's wording suggests at 7:40 when you go to higher fps 4. 60 fps frame perfects in top levels are usually easier at higher fps (for example: a 60 fps frame perfect may become something like 10 frames at 360, not exactly 6 like the video suggests) sidenote: all the other parts of the video were very well made, this was just a nitpick on my end but i value complete accuracy with information. i enjoyed the video and did watch until the end. your content is good so i will watch what you post next. i just encourage you to be a little bit more careful with your explanations of concepts

7:38 Unfortunately your nerd protection has the opposite effect, frame perfects don't perfectly translate like that, a 60 fps FP can be anywhere from 1-11 frames on 360 depending on alignment 🤓
For those saying any game with a level creator is the hardest game, GD is unique in the size of its player base and difficulty of top levels. This game has been evolving for 11 years, and the difficulty cieling has been pushed farther than any other game.
i think it also depends on how limited that level creator is. an example of this is some random mobile game i player for a bit called king of thieves. you can design your own base and then have to beat it twice in a row. it's very limited though with a really small grid and only 3 traps the sheer amount of possibility in gd's editor compared to that means you can make extremely difficult stuff (though surprisingly, people designed some extremely difficult bases on that mobile game, but i'd say the peak difficulty might be somewhere around low end extreme demon) in summary: more free editor = more max difficulty (until human limit) and yea gd has been pushed crazy far having seen such a large and consistent playerbase which has focused on difficulty for years. i have 1250 or so hours on pc and have beat 12 roughly beginner extremes (have over 50% progress on one top 500, 2 top 300 extremes, i'm addicted). but even then that is super easy to just an average pro player. they could probably beat all of those levels in under 1-2k attempts each. just goes to show how far gd has gone
7:43 not to be a 🤓 but changing fps actually is a lot more complicated than that. for example, imagine a wave gap that was 11 frames wide on 360 fps. now that same gap on 60 fps could be a frame perfect if the frames happen to be aligned so that you only have one frame. let an X be a 60 FPS frame and an H be a 360 fps frame. since theres only a 60 fps frame every 6 360 fps frames the gap could look something like “HHHHHXHHHHH” and the actual time window would be much easier. or it could just be “X” and it happens to allign to 60 fps for the gap to work, but on 360 fps its still a frame perfect, but now a much harder one
Thanks you! It had to be done😭, the other option was to put subway surfers gameplay on the side cuz ppl be just clicking off after 10 seconds nowadays🙏
you basically didnt even remotely answer the question of the title, there's so many games with infinite skill ceilings. plus most of the script felt redundant, made for non gd players, then to only bring up one level only. was really expecting something on the nature of the game
6:50 no tf? 💀 wave is considered to be one of the easiest game modes the real hardest game mode is spider or robot since nobody does hard gameplay (except Nullscapes)
don't see how spider could be considered a harder game mode than Wave, when the timing is just based on a click timing instead of a hold and release timing. The fact that it hasn't been used enough or that there are no good spider players doesn't make the game mode harder in my opinion
yeah nah dude i disagree with spider. you can make fast click patterns with any gamemode but spider is just timing a click (release unimportant unless you use dash orbs, which makes this apply to every game mode) whereas wave is timing a hold and release to the same standard of precision. it's way harder to time a hold and release than just a click. for this reason, ship, wave, and robot are the hardest gamemodes, where an argument can be made for any one of those three. people are mainly good at wave because they practice it more. also, skill at a gamemode does not equal difficulty of the gamemode. swingcopter is an easier gamemode fundamentally than ship or wave, but the community as a whole is less practiced with it so obviously it will seem "harder"
Correction to 7:40 :

you said that a 60 fps frame perfect would be a 6 frame window on 360, but that's not always the case. based on your alignment because of your framerate throughout the level, it will drastically affect how some clicks function. a click could be a 60 fps frame perfect because you are really fast and just barely nick the corner of a hitbox 1 frame early and 1 frame late. tldr:
1. not all frame perfects are made equal. a 60 fps frame perfect could be 1 frame on 360 or could be several more than 6 frames on 360.
2. alignment in a level affects frame perfects when changing between fps. different fps have different accuracies for clicks

Sorry for not including the names of the levels. This one is called MAGISTRO by CHRAPIVA. Here is the link to Nexus' video: th-cam.com/video/-564U4q1zZc/w-d-xo.html
Thanks!

3:55 Where to get this
Hi, I got mine a while ago from Aliexpress, they are sold on many websites, but you should research the trusted sellers.
7:38 Unfortunately your nerd protection has the opposite effect, frame perfects don't perfectly translate like that, a 60 fps FP can be anywhere from 1-11 frames on 360 depending on alignment 🤓
Noob: builds a demon level
Also noob: sees 1:12
Noob again: 💀💀💀💀💀
Relatable as someone with a very easy medium demon as a hardest.
And thats why... i cant beat Cataclysm
UR UNDERRATED MAN
Appreciate you man, thanks for watching!
For those saying any game with a level creator is the hardest game, GD is unique in the size of its player base and difficulty of top levels. This game has been evolving for 11 years, and the difficulty cieling has been pushed farther than any other game.
i think it also depends on how limited that level creator is. an example of this is some random mobile game i player for a bit called king of thieves. you can design your own base and then have to beat it twice in a row. it's very limited though with a really small grid and only 3 traps
the sheer amount of possibility in gd's editor compared to that means you can make extremely difficult stuff (though surprisingly, people designed some extremely difficult bases on that mobile game, but i'd say the peak difficulty might be somewhere around low end extreme demon)
in summary: more free editor = more max difficulty (until human limit)
and yea gd has been pushed crazy far having seen such a large and consistent playerbase which has focused on difficulty for years. i have 1250 or so hours on pc and have beat 12 roughly beginner extremes (have over 50% progress on one top 500, 2 top 300 extremes, i'm addicted). but even then that is super easy to just an average pro player. they could probably beat all of those levels in under 1-2k attempts each.
just goes to show how far gd has gone
It's simple, the hardest part is stopping the addiction to the game lol

2:54 Don't forget about w key
2:56 I use the "W" key
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
It is actually the hardest game cuz impossible levels exist also the editing is frying my brain but good video
Thanks you! It had to be done😭, the other option was to put subway surfers gameplay on the side cuz ppl be just clicking off after 10 seconds nowadays🙏
@@GDMikiSky lol
8:47 dogg"y"?

What makes "The world hardest game" (the flash game) the worlds hardest game?
6:30 Phobos💀
3:42 cat :)
As a geometry dash addict, I can still say that osu might just be the same, if not more difficult. But idk because I haven't played osu.
This is so underrated
3:00 That's sad :C
4:44 bro stole this from kaiguy 💀
Which part about it? Never watched him
and theres LITERALLY a 'Human Limit' being currently worked on rn
you should check ''tower of spiralling fates'' tbh
WAIT ONLY 200 VIEWS WHAT??!
We will get the numbers up soon enough!😎
I beat bloodbath and i still cant get 2% on tidal wave

you basically didnt even remotely answer the question of the title, there's so many games with infinite skill ceilings. plus most of the script felt redundant, made for non gd players, then to only bring up one level only. was really expecting something on the nature of the game
fortnite: im the hardest game ever!
roblox: no me!1!
cuphead: nah i'd win
geometry dash: .....
roblox got jtoh but I think gd is harder(I've beaten an insane demon gd and an extreme in jtoh)
not the sayodevice D:
Exactly I got up to 98% on el3ctrorynamix
Ship and robot are the hardest
wave has the highest difficulty ceiling
@@Uwgsu8 nope ship has
hello im a gd player
The editor.
im on laptop so i use da spacebar
its more like an 11 frame time window in 360 fps not 6
