Excellent video. I like how you show in the beginning and at the end what actually it is you are making. Alot of videos don't do that. Also, I like the different options you include to make this an enjoyable sewing experience and learning session. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Hubby tho't the one that said "& Friends" needed a mate, so I'm just getting to that in time for this year's gift-giving season. Better late than never! This is a wonderful pattern that can be made into any size you need. I can see it being used to make a heat - proof, or at least resistant, buffet table length pad to place underneath your hot dishes if or when you need it. TYSM for sharing this video with us. It's very informative.

If you begin sewing the bias binding along the top of the short ends, you can fasten it into a loop so you can hang it up.
