@@dacianatrif490 the Minecraft pro strat is to have three blocks between tunnels but have the tunnels three high for the most optimal exposure because of ore cluster shapes

I just started playing this game and strip mining is the best strat imo, unless i'm missing something? Got any tips for a newcomer?
lift+Teleporter=O.P., but the lift is what you want to take with you between rounds, as it's better early on than the teleporter and the teleporter can often be found deeper down.
With a fully upgraded lift and jetpack, it's almost as fast to just use the lift. I'm actually surprised you don't splatter on the dome ceiling with how fast you rocket up.

Any item that goes underneath the dome opens up the layer surrounding the dome though, I pick the shield and teleporter on every game I play, that and the lift, tree, and prospection meter at the end. The shield makes small enemies die from 1 medium hit, has a huge health pool to survive with, and it recharges over time meaning it's a free small enemy killer every wave, and the high speed birds are also killed from the first hit on normal difficulty.
@@matthewwilliams8727 You can only get 2 of the items for under the dome per run. So you have to chose between the Condenser, Blast Mining, Shield, and Teleporter. (maybe others, I think there was a 5th but I can't remember what it was) Once you have 2 of those you will no longer get upgrades for those slots. Shield and Condenser are the best ones to grab, since Shield will block damage and save you from needing repairs, while Condenser will provide you with a steady supply of the water needed to use Repellant and Orchard as well as to upgrade the various modules.
Lift and Prospector use their own slots and overlap with nothing else, so you don't lose anything by taking them at any point.

DF - a small tip for you: picking orchard as soon as possible is the strat because it boosts your speed, carrying capacity, and mining speed for a short time meaning you progress faster!
