  • We're coming to the end of our downwind season here in Perth and it's time to have a play and mix it up. Along with a mate, Pete van Maanen, I thought I'd link the Snapper Run to the Drummer's Run for a bit of extra distance and to paddle some new water across Gage Roads which is the entrance to Fremantle Port. 38.5km and some hectic boat traffic later, we enjoyed reflecting on the great paddle we had over fish n chips and a cold beer at Clancy's at City Beach. In recognition of transitioning across from one iconic run to another, we thought we'd name this course "TRANSIT'S".

Nice one Daz! Sorry about the "end of the season" thing. It must be tough to live in a place where they have "seasons". Here we just "transit" from the Miller's Run to the Reverse Miller's Run and beyond to the Reverse Buffels Run! 😆
