    Honestly I’m about to do this class right now and I have no idea what I’m doing. So watching this really helped me with my class.

    Tip. You should make sure you put the caps back on the same ring and in the same direction they were when you lapped them.

    Good vid coop. At work when I lap I put a couple drops of oil on the lapping compound but I am lapping carbide inserts, sure scope rings clean up quicker

      They clean up a lot quicker! But you know a drop of oil would probably help lapping the rings.

    Be cool if you did a video on deferential tork values of the caps with that pointer thing, you could save a lot of scoops and show the importance and or more importantly the value of sequential tork specks in order Thanks, good vid.

    How many tools needed for the SDI.program?

    • @candtdesignsandarms9617
      @candtdesignsandarms9617  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sis most tools are supplied by SDI for the classes but it helps when you already have things like a few basic tools like vices and drills.

      Keep it in mind brother the next time you get a high dollar scope you are going to mount. It may help

    when you tighten down the rings,, no more than 18 inch/pounds. this will require a special tool to do this and if you happen to not use this,,, and over tighten the rings ,, you can damage and ruin the scope... so BE careful with this process people.

      Yep yep there is more to putting on a scope that just slapping on the gun and hoping for the best

    Such a good scope in crappy rings.
    Buy new and good rings, problem solved.
    You’re welcome.

      Some times even with high dollar rings they need to be lapped just a little to get the scope in line
