A lot of people who can afford cars like that probably just have it for some flash. More power to them, but if I could afford something like that, I'd like to drive it. However, there are people who buy guitars to hang on the wall and they don't even know how to play. Just something pretty to look at, I guess. 😂🤷♂️
somehow people think that since its rare its fragile asf, its still a car and that goes for everything, the excuse is usually "i dont want to brake it" as if it wasnt meant to be used
If I had a Koenigsegg, I’d drive the hell out of it, same with any supercar or hypercar, they are meant to be driven, not sit there as a lawn decoration

I try to clean my car as well as you do! And although I can’t get 100% I’m satisfied with the 50% I do get!!

In New York (especially the city) I've heard it's part of the people's tradition or heritage to back up until they actually hit something and feel a little bump when parallel parking.

@@lordofwhip lets be honest here, the dude daily drives a 1 of 40 ferrari, that's worth like 300k, if you can daily drive a ferrari, and a relatively newer one, you can afford not only the maintenance, but also small repair bills. Yeah sure no one wants to pay for something they didn't do, but a couple grand repair bill isn't much to a multi millionaire, potentially billionaire.
It's definitely a tradition for numerous idiots, I call it the braille method of parking.

Your video presentation style is so much more easy to watch than most other detailing channels
I would be interested in comparing maintenance from a daily driven versus one of those garage queens, per mile. Seems that storage creates a lot of seals, hoses, etc. to need replacement at much lower miles.
I'm sure that per mile, it is astonishing how much more affordable driving these cars semi regularly is. Drive your cars, you rich bastards. Even if it's 500 miles a year. They were designed and engineered to be enjoyed. Treating them any differently makes them lesser.
Parking this baby in nyc is gunna triple that maintenance price at least. This dude ain’t curbside parking here I’m sure he pays for protected lots( not all are protected, they can be park at own risk )
Rubber gaskets and so on will age no matter what. It's years, not mileage that's the main problem.

The paint is so soft because of the properties of the glue. The glue needs to stick, so it's quite "aggressive", or rather "effective". A skilled detailer spots this, like you did.

Love watching Larry’s work. Makes me want to detail my cars but don’t get it done as fast as him and the wife yells at me for being in the garage all day 🤦♂️. Sure it takes him hrs to detail the car but makes it seem so fast and easy.

Larry, If the badge that has reacted is plastic it can usually have the chrome effect removed with a gel bleach, It will return it back to its original plastic resin and then it can be re-chromed , Coated or painted etc

So thankful the clearcoat on my Volvo is made from ground up diamonds. It takes a lot to get the marks out but at least it doesn't haze easily.
My daughter and I cleaned my wife's Jeep Trail Hawk today. She's 2 and a half so all the rules went out the window. She loved her first car wash tho. Especially wiping the wheel brush all over mamas doors

I use an old SonicCare toothbrush with polish or cleaners... Does an amazing job on interior tight spots.

Yes, I love and truly appreciate the fascinating perfection, I’d do everything in my power to protect my much loved cars, but I believe that cars were made to be used and driven. Well at least the car is being driven. Paint is either soft and resists chips but is susceptible to washing damage or it's hard, resists washing damage but chips easily. Either way you need ^^^ this guy to make it all better. Great vid.
