Thanks for watching! The silver set presented to Sir John Kirk belongs in the National Museum of Scotland. Wish I could remember the cost of it. We could all pool our money and preserve history.
Another comment, I also saw a matching Serves plate with a bleu céleste border and putti to one I have! The plates were in the case with the wonderful sterling silver picther you highlighted.
I love the American Brilliant cut crystal and have many pieces from my great grandmother. There are so many beautiful items to see and I'm amazed at the exquisite craftsmanship. Thank you Mary Beth for taking us along with you to see all these gorgeous pieces.
Oh my goodness! The jewelry you showed from Thailand, I have a bracelet and earrings exactly like those. They belonged to my mother. My father was in the Air Force from the 1940's to the 1960's. I often wondered where they came from. Perhaps he bought them when stationed in Europe. I know he traveled a lot while there. I found them when my Mom passed away. She had they packed away in a box. See how valuable you are to us!
Interesting and lovely pieces! Loving that art deco jewelry and the handmade quilts! You are always so knowledgeable and I love learning ! Have a happy thanksgiving 🦃
The miniature Shelley teacups were a first for me. Glad to know about the history, which helped when finding a Spode sample at a rummage sale. It's tiny!
Love those silver bracelets. I have allergies so can only wear gold silver…or plastic. I mostly wear silver as it goes with anything. Those quilts were stunning. A lovely video x
@ haha! I wear a silver bangle all the time and is exactly the same as one you have I think. A silver rope twist with gold ends which G gave me a decade or so ago. I am more of a silk scarf sort apart from that😄
Love this! I agree that this antique show was Christie's auction house worthy. If I could have, would purchase the Sir John Kirk presentation set and donate to a museum.
Love it all, and I want it all! Good thing I live four states away. I already spend WAY too much at my local thrift (and now on a local online estate liquidators site!) But I get some good deals on some great things!
Lady MB....always love your videos....The first table you visited in the video (you highlighted the large punch bowl) could you share the name of the dealer? I have interest in some of the items on the table. Thank you!!
Messaging the dealer now. You can reach out to Virgil at virgilrmitchell@gmail.com with questions. He had the first table showcased with the Sterling punch bowls and Sir John Kirk presentation set.
I use Hagerty's silver spray and gloves. This works best for polishing on the spot and no rinsing, unless you are serving with a piece. Angevine's can mail to you, as it's becoming harder to find.
The silver and porcelain send me over the moon!!!! thank you so much Lady Mary Beth for sharing this wonderful Antique show with us♥️
Lovely things everywhere.😊
Loved seeing the exquisite sterling and silver plate! Also, the American Brilliant cut glass was wonderful! Thanks again for another enjoyable video!

We must be on the lookout for one now.

It's hard to pass up a good deal. I get it!
I don’t think you get enough credit for the puns you do in each video 😄
😂
Thank you for noticing. Too funny!

That tea set is fancy fancy.
What is the best and easiest cleaner for silver pieces?
My personal choice is Hagerty's. I purchase it from Angevine's Silver in Florida.

My father was born in 1909
Too bad these affiliate marketing stays up so long and covers so much of my phone. 😢
Sorry about that. TH-cam places these whether we want or not.
