I really dig this film, but it needed more suspects and red herrings. Sharon stone was 🔥 i agree that the hand in the pocket was beyond stupid. the worst thing in this film is michael Douglas in a V neck shirt 😆
I love how Sharon Stone is growing old gracefully. I follow her on Instagram. Her sex appeal still comes through even in a turtle neck. She isn't desperate to show you that she still "got it"🥰
Catherine’s totally the killer though. Beth already said the lock was busted on her apartment and there’s no way she would’ve known to kill the partner the same way as in the book because she didn’t have a chance to read it yet. 100% Catherine planted everything, I’m just shocked Nick fell for it. I really thought he’d figure it out.
I was 7 years old when this came out, so I could only say that I’m gonna like this movie…one day lol. But, I remember seeing the trailer so many times on MTV, and the interrogation scene was all over the place. When I finally watched it, I applauded my parents for shooing me away when they rented it 😂. All the horror flicks were an exception, thankfully.
I haven't watched this film since the 90's, but back then I didn't see what the big deal was about the interrogation scene (I saw nothing). I'd forgotten what a hot mess Michael Douglas's character was (they let his crazy ass continue to be a cop and carry a gun?). To this day I believe that after the movie Catherine got one more in with him and then stabbed his ass to death with that ice pick anyway. And I'm okay with that 😆
Sharon Stone filmed the opening scene so they certainly aren't Jeanne Tripplehorn's t****! And anyway, you can tell they’re unmistakably Sharon's all the way through.
Yeah but, although it wasn’t at the time (it should have been!), taking itself way too seriously, it’s now high-camp and worth a watch. And Madonna ****s ARE fantastic, they always were. (I’m gay and trust me I can still appreciate a fantastic pair of boobies) AND they’re real as well, unlike Sharon! When Sharon made a disparaging remark about Madonna in 1993 (‘She’s just a performance artist and out to shock’ Madonna was NOT happy.
Well, I don't know, guys... I think this movie is outdated, I'm sorry. In the early 1990s this types of movies were indeed very popular. This is 1992. I saw it a bit later, probably in 1995, on video. And of course I was instantly impressed! Wow: Sharon Stone, what a beauty! And "erotic thriller" or "thriller drama" were my preferred film genres for a long time! *** However, at some point in the mid-2000s, I got sick of movies like this... From that moment on I mainly like hard action(Die Hard 1&2) or vintage science-fiction(Alien, Aliens). And if we're talking about naked women: porn is much better than an erotic thriller..............................

I remember Ebert saying something along the lines of Fatal Attraction is a Friday the 13th movie for people who wouldn’t be caught dead going to a Friday the 13th movie. I don’t think that’s necessarily true, but it found it kind of amusing:)
