Second best shark movie ever made particularly the first two thirds. Scheider, Gary and Hamilton are very good again, some nice direction and another great score by Williams. Brody's PTSD is quite an adult subject. That part is not childish.
This is my favorite sequel of all time, of all sequels, not just the franchise. It's so good! It's bigger, it's dumber, but it's similar enough to the first one, to make it a classic for me. And, a lot of the reviews I've seen regarding this film, shit on the teenagers, I think they're all likeable. Unlike a lot of teenage victims-to-be, there wasn't one where I was all "I can't wait for them to die!!" Jaws : 5 stars. Jaws 2 : 4 stars. "Wanna go home and bang it out?", and that kids is that little KTR difference. Love these two!!! Keep up the good work, gents!!

Despite the fact Roy Scheider hated working on Jaws 2, he still gave a great reprisal as Brody. See any of Jeannot Szwarc’s other films?
Oh definitely but I’ve probably seen more of his recent tv work, like supernatural, than his films. Not a big fan of Helen Slaters supergirl.
