In the next video: “B-Double Trailers”, I complete the entire set and gameplay is shown. Truck info: - The design is based on those Australian "Road Trains", which consists of a variety of trucks. The ones I took inspiration from are the Kenworth T909 and old Mack Superliners. Key features of these trucks are: Bullcatcher Bumper Guard, Snorkels, and a series of trailers to pull, hence the nickname. Sometimes, they'll have triple rear axles, which is very helpful in this game, so I added it. Specs: - 22 forward thrusters - 8 down thrusters (6 is preferred, 8 can feel to "glued" to the ground) - 16 turn thrusters (8 on each side) - 96 slots of storage - Triple rear axles - New fifth wheel (trailer hitch) design. When attaching to a trailer, it needs just 2 more pieces to lock them together. I show how to do this in the next video about the double trailers.
@@DonEBrooke32 yeah I thought I circled the vehicle too fast. I’ll slow down a bit next time. Anyways, I’m glad you noticed the quad grand chests! It was Inspired by the Kenworth T909 (the real life truck) which has quad fuel tanks. And thank you for your last statement, I’m honored. This was built with pure passion. So for this to be your pride and joy makes me so happy.
4:56 it's THAT heavy that i'm gon need EIGHT of 'em? 😰 6:15 and now, what'll i do fer the REAR thrusters? (we only got THRRE channels, and i use rear in case an incline's too much for her.)
@@DonEBrooke32 Yeah 😅, it’s got a tipping problem due to weight and high center of gravity. As for the thrusters…. I agree, rear thrusters are a huge help, and necessary in some scenarios. But, It might not be too necessary…. Wait for the next tutorial where I show how to add the trailers. The hitch design as shown in this video, is just for when it’s not in use. There’s a couple more parts to add when you actually attach a trailer to it. Using the turn thrusters you can turn the truck around of course. But the new great thing is, the trailers won’t detach! You can essentially power through many situations to guide your way into an easier path. The downside to this is, on the case where it does tip over…. The entire vehicle will flip too. Won’t detach though 😉 I think it’s worth it.
Oh it’s okay, you don’t need it or the fence on top. You can replace it with a small dresser storage piece instead. I forgot the exact name, but it’s a similar size.
@@itsprinciple- That’s a tough one, Ive never encountered this problem. When you place the seat where it normally goes, you are unable to enter the seat? or is it that you can, but it just won’t work?
@@itsprinciple- Oh okay! No problem, I actually have encountered this. What’s happening is: when there is not enough space between the seat and the roof of the cabin, the game detects it as “not enough space”. I’m not sure how yours looks specifically. But I’m guessing the roof is probably one space too low at the ends. Try watching the cabin part again.
@@BrionyQuarrell No worries, only one piece is used from the Star Wars and it’s just a cosmetic. You can use the “manor dresser small” in its place. Everything else is default pieces.
@@miles2.000 I think I would have them facing outwards, but there isn’t a correct way to do this unfortunately. Its size dimensions don’t align properly with the chests. but it’s the only substitute that came to mind at the time. If you have something new from these recent updates that you think would work better in its place, I think you should go for it. As it’s an aesthetic feature ultimately.
@@BartečekPalo12345 For me, this happens when there is too little space between the seat and ceiling. Either the Cabin ceiling is too low or the floor is too high. Try watching the cabin part again and see if you built it exactly as I did.
