You really must be enjoying lego fortnite, I mean there is a lot of people uploading videos about simple glitches and tricks but you totally break the mechanics to make amazing things
Yeah true, building like this has made it even more fun.
Seeing stuff like this makes me realize why I wasn't a good engineer. I am the least creative person EVER! And creativity can be an important aspect when it comes to problem solving
lol, I am alright with the engineering but I know how you feel when it comes to creativity, I have never been an artistic person.
after your vid last week i adapted to pretty much what you showing here... ive built tunnels with sloping walls and floors, upsidedown lights... everything off stud whereever i want it.. this is the key to buildign freedom... .. also good for ramps, rocket launching platforms, leaning towers... this is just what i have done so far.. comment and post new ideas everyone
I know what you mean, now it almost feels wrong when I build something that is in the world snap direction.
Still mesmerizing to watch the directional builds and blows my mind how clean you're able to integrate it all together... Great job!
Thanks Legion. I have had some requests on showing how I blend different directions and angles. I’ll have to put something together for that.
@@GrindGeek looking forward to it!
Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not gonna lie @GrindGeek, you are the most Smartest Lego Fortnite Player I have ever seen when it comes to building!
Keep up the good work man! 😁👍
Thanks, I will do my best to keep you impressed.
Bro, you're a genius! Thank you for this, and the original directional building tutorial! Stay grinding! 😀
Thanks! You know I will.
Can we get a petition going for them to make the sidewalk foundations smoother when you drive over them?
That would be great.
Thx for these tips. And as bonus I feel better knowing that I'm not the only grown-up person who plays lego Fortnite .
You’re welcome and based on my TH-cam analytics we are not alone. 👍
Grown up here 🙋🏻♀️ lol
You sir are a genius.
Or a madman with too much time on their hands. Thanks a lot 😀
You’ve gained another sub, I don’t subscribe much but I really enjoy your videos and lego
Thanks, it has been fun making them. I’m glad you enjoyed.
Thank you again for another brilliant tutorial GG! Love your work and keen to give this ago 😅
Glad you like it hope it helps out in your world.
I've been really enjoying Lego Fortnite, this was very helpful thank you! I made a makeshift hot air-balloon to get around my map and this is something I had in mind but never figured out how to do it.
You’re welcome, I use the balloon as well when exploring but between villages the monorail is great.
This is so innovative, I thought it was going to be a lot harder but with some practice I’ve got it working
Thanks, once you have done it a couple time it is easy. Only gets hard when you try to merge different directions.
I connected two bases with a distance of over 1000 m, great video and idea, thanks :)
Thanks, How far did you get, I managed about 1050m but then I couldn’t attach anymore pieces so I had to build a transfer station to continue on.
@@GrindGeek 1100m, when I reached the length limit, I built a pillar to the ground, made a small gap, built a second pillar to the height of the track and continued building the track
@@azydekm.3119 yeah, that’s pretty much what I did too.
You are the best of the best) thank you for your videos) Keep doing what you doing bro)
Thanks, glad you liked it. Working on some new stuff now.
Ooh I’d love to see a video explaining how channels work. I have one of the pre built cars made and I have zero clue what the channels can be used for lmao
Hey Jarek, great idea, if you check out Kaboom_2084 he does a lot of mechanical builds and has a video on channels about a month ago called “how to get more channels on your build “.
This is amazing! I really wish epic adds a simple tool to make slopes soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. 😊
Thank you. It would be nice if they made it a feature so it is easier to do but then what would I make videos about 🤣
They kind of have but you have to use rooves
wow so elaborated
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Trabajo espectacular, ya tienes un nuevo subscriptor. 🤙🏼
Muchas gracias
so helpful, great video!
Thanks, I’m glad it was helpful!
1:23 hey, in lego fortnite you can destroy buildings with your hands as easy as with a pickaxe
No, some types of materials can be destroyed with your hands but it takes more hits. How many depends on the material and which pick axe. Other materials like frost pine can only be destroyed with a stronger pick axe, even the common pick axe won’t break it.
@@GrindGeek Thank you, I saw you needed a one hit for most materials, it is the fact I was feeling I needed the same force 3 hits with the hand and wooden pickaxe, good week 😃
Another unique build! 😊
Thanks, glad you liked it 👍
Great Tutorial!!
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Wow dude this is really good info!
Glad it was helpful!
@@GrindGeek Just watched your Beacon video and saw the upside down candles and I'm gonna use those in my house
Great tutorial, GG!
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
worth to subscribe 💪😎
Cheers, thanks for subscribing 😀
Nice job and trick thx alot I try that :)
Thanks and have fun 👍
This is amazing.
Thanks 👍
Wow amazing bridge
Thank you, glad you like it.
Fontaine just fixed Lego fortnite map on android now showing the map.... will start playing more ❤
That’s good 👍
Yooo!!! This is sickkk!! Im gonna mess with this technique. Also thanks for the shout out! 💯🤘🔥
Thanks, and it’s the least I could do for all the use I got out of that elevator. 😀
I had thought this angled buiding was possible but i wanted to check if you already made a video on it and it seen youhave
Glad you checked, hope it helps with your builds.
@@GrindGeek it has thanks
I watch your videos over and over, You my Friend Iss Totally Awesome. I look at every detail of your Farms and Each thing totally Amazes me, Knowing just how much work is done to each detail., to even make a perfect. circle , which again Amae me. WOW, Super Dope.
Wow, thanks, I am glad you like it. 👍
Low-key they should make this a standalone game... But still have ur fn content.
Yeah, it has almost turned into a game within a game for me. 😁
why does my monorail cart fall through the tracks onto the ground when I activate it?
I think LF still has some glitches with vehicles, I have that happen sometimes on monorails that I haven’t messed with directions. I hear people are having their cars disappear too but that hasn’t happened to me yet.
Thought for a sec that this was jack frags lol
Without the English accent or 4 million subs 🤣
That monorail looked amazing though. Could you do a video on how you made it?
Sorry, not sure what you mean. I showed how to build the monorail and car in this video. Was there something that I missed?
@@GrindGeek I'm sorry, I didn't have time to finish the video before bed and thought the new bridge would be without the same type of rail. Thanks for sharing
I build it like you do it. on the downward end, i could not place a pillar on the rail. on the half of the rail i could set it again.
any solution?
Well that’s no good. Can you DM me on discord so we can share some pics or video. Username GrindGeek and you can find me in Craftopia or the Official LF server.
Thanks so much I have built lots of ridiculously long and steep hills, I hit the limit on one I think it was around 1km, I was trying to cover 1.2km.
Today however it seems like it has been patched, the angled pieces just rise up out of the ground! any fixes to this?
Yeah, the limit is about 1km and then you have to start a new structure if you want to continue on. I just checked and I can still place angles and directions and my builds are fine. Is it effecting everything or just certain things?
Are you still having issues or is everything ok now?
People keep in mind that you can not do any of this on console. Only PC players get all the mechanics and placement options in the game.
Not true, I play on PS5
OMG !!!!! YOUR GENIUS ! Thank you soo much !
You're welcome! Hopefully it helps you out.
I too make similiar structures, but geez not in survival mode
Depending on complexity I may practice in sandbox, but if it’s cool I want it in my survival world.
Could you do a tutorial on that elevator?
Hey, the elevator was actually a build by another creator named Haskyns, he did an excellent tutorial on it and I linked it in the description of this video 👍.
lol man at this point i believe you should try solving Ramanujan's math equations xD
Lol, it took me a couple minutes but the answer is -1/12.
If you manage to make a bridge with a real ascending and descending angle then you are a god, i try your mechanics but it takes way too much to have what i want
Glad you like it, there are limitations on what you can do.
Okay but can you show us how to make that angled bridge
I can probably make a short video on the bridge structure. It is the same process from this video and then I slapped some foundations and railings on it.
@@GrindGeek I would appreciate that or any tips, I’ve been attempting it for awhile and haven’t been able to get it to look clean and connected, from flat surfaces to angled ones
Poly bridge
lol, yeah, pretty close.
Hey umm whenever I place stuff together it gets misaligned
Hey, find me in discord and we can see what we can do to fix it. @grindgeek
@@GrindGeek bit late I already made what I need but the way you make it I will use it’s prob your method of angle building that’s why it worked
@@mogammadadams297i end up with glitch pieces as well that don’t align just right but is guess when you twist the game dynamics in a way they aren’t supposed to work you are going to end up with a few issues.
How long did this take?
The bridge, a few hours, the technique for manipulating directions, way too long and still figuring things out 😁
@@GrindGeek dang I don’t think I would have the patience to do all of that
The guy Wasted pure DAYS of his real life on this stuff.. 😂 that's not really an achievement
@@montagemik it’s in survival to 😭
Ya, I think that’s every video game ever
damn I want to play with you
If you see me online let me know and I might be able to stop by 👍
wow u are a smart man
Thanks, it was also a bunch of trial and error 😣
hey man, is just mentioned you in my recent video. maybe you want to check it out! the bridge for the cars is insane! looks soo good!
Hey, thanks, just watched your video, so many buildings in custom directions. Like the message. Keep it up.
@@GrindGeek hey, thanks a lot!
😂 some people really need a social life, literally wasting Days building pointless things in a game mode that has no purpose, open environments with literally nothing to do, no missions to accomplish, no endgame... If you're over 10 and this is your spare time - Get Help 🤦🤦
lol, I’m glad you enjoyed the video though.
