As an EXO-L who is a fan since debut and also had classical vocal lessons as a teen.... I also wholeheartedly agree that they are the best singers in K-Pop. Besides having a beautiful discography that aged like fine wine and is indeed the real life YOUTh of many people in Asia and overseas who grew up with them; I think that their training SHOWS everytime and moment they open their mouths to just sing on the daily. As a trained singer you can just pick up on the techniques they have ingrained in their bodies and you can also relate to the need to always be singing haha. Truly they are like us trained singers that love this art. I will always love them for really loving this job and art form! Thanks for sharing✨
that's one of the things i really love about Exo. They sing anywhere and any time and you can tell they love it. They get to practice their skill anytime and are not afraid to sing anywhere. They still do vocal lessons when they are already this amazing and despite their busy schedule. Baekhyun and Chen both the proud not just in EXO but in the whole music industry singing the very high notes of Drop That and of course their dou of " I Really Didn't Know," u can react that before it block. Also "Promise," the song that dedicated to their fans or fandom exols...u can react that because they made it for their fans around the world, the EXOLs!

I love singing (barely average) which is why I'm leaning towards SM artists' vocal prowess and their music more than any other. You just know based on this that SM artists from main vocals to rappers get to learn enough of the fundamentals and vocal techniques. Although SM mostly have mid music productions, the way they highlight the vocals and harmonization is what makes them different and still contending on top.
These guys are basically veterans in the music industry already and yet they are still here actively attending their vocal trainings🥹 I hope the newer generation of kpop could put as much effort as their seniors.

Newer generations of k-pop you barely hear the use of vibrato anymore. Super rare to hear the use of this basic vocal technique these days in k-pop.
