Absolutely and I've owned and operated both, sold the Lionel O27 42" switches since wheels arc against the wide center rail which may be just a bit too wide, plus K Line switches have lights.
That is a great question and I have not had one that got stuck either way. How does it feel when you operate it manually, does it drag and is harder to rotate than your other switches? If it did I would suspect something binding at the track which moves, the linkage below from the switch motor to the moving track piece, or the pivoting gear by the motor. They can be finicky and there is even scotch tape underneath holding the linkage up in the switch too. Good luck on the repairs and thanks for watching the vid.
You mentioned that you have some that bounce. I have a left hand one that bounces pretty bad. Is there any way to adjust that? Loved the video and helped out quite a bit on a repair I was doing.
Glad you watched the video and hope it helps with any repairs. I have been lucky enough to get the switches to work correctly by just lowering the voltage on the little transformer as an adjustable constant power source dedicated to only these switch tracks. I did have to wd40 a couple top areas that were too sticky (used and maybe something got in there?). If the bounce back problem is on that sliding piece on the top then perhaps there is a way to put a bit of drag on that gear or if needed the actual plastic which is activating the micro switch. Maybe a tiny flat washer or paper shim with a hole in it on the pivots inside?
I like the K-Line 42” switches better than the Lionel 42” switches.

Great video, Have you ever ran into the switch getting stuck when thrown either way? I have added 101 oil to the gear and that did not help
