I acquired a bunch of 027-42 remote turnouts after watching one of your earlier videos, looking forward to trying them. Just a comment, I have been in the Hobby, seriously, anyways, but mostly as a collector, for over 30 years, and I learn more practical tips from you for the least time spent, than any other method. Thanks!
Great video as always. I wish we still had K-line like they were before they tried to go into scale model production. As you have shown, the old K-line made some great equipment for those of us in the 027 side of the hobby.
The O gauge market in the late 1990s-early 2000s was moving into the higher-detail, bigger-budget direction. However, even during this time K-Line kept one foot clearly in the budget market with their FAs, MP15, and Marx-inspired steamers. What killed K-Line was the patent-infringement lawsuit with Lionel when K-Line's Korean supplier got caught stealing Lionel patents (and one of Lionel's suppliers was caught doing the same with MTH). In the end, K-Line lost their lawsuit and was absorbed into Lionel ("K-Line by Lionel") until Lionel killed off the line.
After running into multiple Lionel 42” 027 profile switches with the mis wiring problems I started buying K-Line 42” 027 profile switches on Ebay in the middle 2000’s. Several of those K-Line switches had the curved section in which the rails weren’t captive to the switch body and were set in the realistic size plastic ties. Several of those switches I was able to cut off that curved track in order to more tightly build a mini yard.
Found a 42 “ K line turnout at a train show. Worked intermittently due to the micro- switch being faulty. I wired the 3 terminals on the micro switch together and it works perfectly. The red and green lights are both on all the time but at least the switch works.
how do you wire for automatic train operation from Lionel booklet. two trains going in opposing trainband never colliding. need a picture were the wire go.
The jumpers came with the terminal strips. I don't recall where I purchased those particular strips - it may have been Amazon or All Electronics, or I sometimes find electral odds and ends on Walmart's page.

Thank you, and thanks for watching!

Every layout will be slightly different. This link can provide some starting ideas. th-cam.com/video/zZ0eifyCvvs/w-d-xo.html
Can a 153 signal be wired to this turnout to work in tandem
I haven't tried it, but it should work in theory since it has the correct internal contacts.
Where did you find your buss jumpers.
